Live by the gun die by the gun. Your calculated aggression is what I believe gives you your edge at the table. Sometimes it's going to blow up, like with the Queens. But it's clear it's a winning formula.

3 things:
1.) Doing laundry is good practice for poker. Helps you perfect your folding.
2.) there is no such thing as spending to much money in a record store.
3.) graphics on the “2 black kings”. Hilarious.
Hi James, I watch your games regularly, love them! May I say that it might be an idea to see the flop first without raising with low pairs, because as you know they are easily beaten, usually straight away on the flop and then you have to fold to the first bet. Try and see the flop as cheaply as you can with low pairs, save your chips that way. Also when you had the QQ hand, well of course you are going to make an opening bet to see how the land lies, but the mistake you seem to make is not recognising the opponent's 3 bet. If he is doing that he has something big and you don't seem to be considering that fact. Therefore I'd do the same in that situation too, just make the call for the 3 bet and see the flop first, no good just pushing your stack to a massive 3 bet in the hopes he has not got AA or KK, which he did have and you lost to it. I used to do the same as you with QQ, JJ, 10 10 and get it in when I'm 3 bet thinking I am good to AJ AK AQ, but my experience has started to inform me not to go all in when I am 3 bet, and now I'll just call the 3 bet and see the flop first, that way I might just flop trips cheaply and beat the opposition. You may think that my advice here is exploitable, but what I am saying is that 3 bets usually mean something huge and maybe its better than your QQ. I have backed off pushing all in after I'm 3 bet, as I have realised that most of the time I lose, and lose to AK when I even have JJ or even QQ. In this way you save your stack and I am suggesting that you ease off in pushing your stack over the line to a 3 bet, stop and just see the flop first. Of course this does not apply to AA and KK, your odds are huge then when you push all in and of course you can 3 bet those hands as your opponent did to your QQ, but the cut off to an all in push after being 3 bet is QQ, with that hand just see the flop first after your opening bet and after being 3 bet. Good thing you didn't flop sets and lose. Yesterday at the Aria I had pocket pairs and flopped sets every time. Sets of 3's, 9's and 8's and lost every time after going all in on the flop. The suck outs were at an all time high..... Good Vlog as usual bro!

That was a good example of how most sessions go, an all in at the end to decide your fate of double or nothing, you battled hard, it was just your turn to lose, great content though, hopefully worth the 1500 at least, the battle continues as the saga.

What I learn from you is 3 bet and 4 bet strategy. I'm too often calling with AQ off or mid pairs. Refreshing to watch your folds with KQ off even in position to a 3 bet and a cold call

Ruff session, I think you made the correct decision by not re-buying. Being tired or on even minor tilt, is not good for a session that just wasn't going your way.

Yeah, I lost that much on Monday. Flopped trip 5s with two clubs on the board. I went all-in and got snapped called with 10-3 clubs. Of course a club hit the river.

Curious as to your mount setup for recording. I didn't see it linked above. I have been contemplating recording while playing simply to have a better source of notes for studying my play later.
When I had a 'normal' phone, I would just sit my phone on it's side. Now that my phone folds, it's a bit easier because it can be it's own mount

Yeah too many pocket pairs are a problem when they don't set 😆 I had a session where I had I think every pocket pair, but maybe 5's and I won all but 2 and 1 of those Chopped JJ VS JJ in a sb vs BB situation
Thoughts on topping off at mid session? I know it's hindsight but your double up when have been a lot more meaningful and could have changed the night
I normally do top-off if necessary but I just wasn't feeling it today
