I just found your channel. All the tips you give in this video are great, when you start with a 4K source. I have a 480 B/W source that is highly faded with no contrast. How could I sharpen this kind of video and also restore the black levels, as one can do in Paint Shop for pictures? If you have created a video already about this subject, please point me to it. Greatly appreciated.
Ignite Vibrance is also very good with sharpening. Ignite Vibrance comes as a set of plug-ins with the full package. I have the radius set at 1 and then match the contrast with the original using the intensity setting. A tad of Bleach Bypass additionally alters the contrast. The bump map effect is also great for lighting corrections. All of these are just like adding salt and pepper. I go easy with the settings.
@@TMTFish hello... I do the colouring and contrast before in the plug-in chain. I do use LUTs sometimes on Slog2 footage but sometimes I add only a percentage of it, especially if I decide to add additional plugins. Cheers

Do you use and color correction plugins/LUT filters ontop of that?
