bro i train karate 6 years and thaiboxing 2 years and i like to
left jab right cross left hook he go back and right ushiro mawashigeri
when i can hit him its good when not i finish after the circle with a left mawashi lowkick to the inside of his left leg!!!!!!!!!! omg i love it
Sensei, thanks very much for this video - a very timely reminder for me on the various combinations and variations. Very top quality explanation / instruction from you. (Goju Kai / Goju Ryu for 15 years).
Bas Rutten used to feed his opponent low roundhouse kicks then feint one into a front kick to the guts. He could easily knock opponents down if they tried to check the roundhouse.
Osu sensei . Nice video. Will try this against my frnds.
I would like to see some of these techniques filmed from above, especially stances, hip work and kinetic chain.
Jesse, I'm a Kyokushin practicioner and I must admit that this video section really helps me and open up my mind to new techniques. Some that you explain here are new to me and I must say this is very helpful. Thanks a lot Jesse,Nice dojo btw, would love to train there XD Osu!
It's simply satisfying to see and hear those kicks land cleanly. Definitely like that Flying Low Kick.
I would like to see you fight in the KARATE COMBAT event 👊
I grew up practicing tae kwon do and boxing. What my father learned and then taught me and my siblings. The thing I like best about karate is that it is straight forward. Not a lot of fancy like most gung-fu and tkd. Over the years and thru many, many fights as a kid I learned to dispense with the fancy and just go. I thoroughly enjoy your teaching and explanation. Thank you.
Fancy stuff is... Its like dessert. Sure, you have it. But the main nutrienst should be more meat n potatoe style. Aka alot of "normal" punches (jabs, cross, hooks) with Some regular kicks (teeps, low kicks, body kicks) to vary things and add reach.
THEN maybe head kicks and spinning attacks as bonuses.
tkd is the most physically demanding style. Pure athleticism. Karate is less so and more about the techniques
Jesse Enkamp's teaching approach is perfect and a great inspiration. It brings me back torwards karate fundamentals the way they are supposed to be taught. His teachings are so rich in style and strategy in which is a signal of fundamentals, and not swaying from the true karate way, or martial way.
Nice video. A combo I like and use is the Andy Hug special which is low low fake back leg front kick switch to roundhouse. Gets them everytime. Also another one is outside low inside low roundhouse spinning hook kick.
Great stuff!
I'm glad to discover that the #10 combo is by a proud fighter from Québec, Canada, who was first a Kyokushin karateka, before going MMA : Georges St-Pierre. Thanks for all those suggestions, Jesse the Karate Nerd. I guess I'm not the only not very flexible guy capable to produce jodan kicks who appreciates those options you present.
Another fantastic video by Jesse! Love from Greece 🇬🇷
love these!! My dojo focuses on kicks above the belt etc most of the time so this is great to learn some new combos and how to properly low kick!! than you!
Thanks for your works Jesse!
I’ve just recently started my Karate journey along with my son.
We find your videos very useful and inspirational.
🙏
My only problem with this video is its too short. 😁 Please do more combos. Its really interesting to learn from you and hear your take on things. Thanks. 😁💗👍
These 10 should get you started! 😜 Thanks for watching 🙏
Jesse Enkamp 👍✌
Jesse, I don't think I've disliked a single one of your videos in the several years you've posted them, but this is almost an exception. There distance in these drills is off- you start from too far away for a low kick to be the entry technique, and do exactly what you tell us not to at the beginning of the video by not being close enough when throwing it. Also, your uke needs to move as you attack. Standing in one place and dropping multiple leg kicks works okay in a Kyokushin tournament, but doesn't make sense when starting from that distance and moving in. Also, you should specify this is for low round kicks- you have a gedan yoko geri from hell, and we didn't get to see it in this video. 😉
Worked like a charm in Muay Thai sparring today
You need a new gym. Some of these were good but most were pretty bad
I have been on a roll these past few days watching your videos. I feel so rejuvenated in my pursuit to continue my Karate

EPIC VIDEO JESSE. I'd like to see other videos like this in order to show how karate could be effective also in MMA or fullcontact/self-defense fights.
Can you also upload something about bones and body conditioning?
You are one of the best💪💪💪🥋
This is one of the best videos you've made. keep it up!
Very nice, amigo. I'm going to write these down and add them into my practice sessions. Great instruction!
Jessie, fantastic, you have given me a whole new repertoire I'm 52 years old and I'm working on my style what's boxing for the upper body, in the style just like this for the lower body combined with knees and elbows for self-defense,... besides the inside low kick in front stop kicks this is been a awesome door open for me to add to my Style thank you very much... very innovative and creative oh, I'm getting to work now LOL
Very informative video, Jesse! I have often tried to expand my use of the low kick and had a bit of trouble making effective combinations with it. This video really helped me to not only incorporate the combinations you've shown, but to also work on my own. Thank you, Jesse!
Sweet! Great to hear 👍 Good luck!!
This is so cool and simple to use!
Thanks, Jesse!

It isn’t really a combo but my favourite kick technique is to bring your leg up in front of you (as if to do a mai Geri) and snap your hip out to the side into a (mawashi geri). Thanks I am stealing some of these
Follow the howl it maybe but I thought the ? Kick was migazukageri?

i did some karate when i was a young teenager - might give it another try, thanks to your videos
great video very educational
Lot of Thanks Master Osss
Hey I really enjoy your how to improve videos. I've been practicing kenpo and jiu-jitsu since I was 6 and very recently I was diagnosed with a softball sized brain tumor that took 4 brain surgeries to remove and even still I need radiation therapy sessions. In doing so I was living in the hospital for 4 months and learned that many things that i used to do would have been forgotten. Things like auto racing, playing the piano and martial arts are taking a very long time to relearn. Your how to vids are helping me regain my old self again and after watching this video I began recalling many more things. Thank you again. I really appreciate it.
Excellent
I remember learning this at lessons. Never really used it during tournaments bc of my short legs and very bulky gear; It really gets in the way.
Wow!! These are SOooo useful!!
Awesome!
Thanks! I like this combos. please make more videos! I LOVE THIS CHANNEL. YOU'RE AWESOME! Regards from Dominican Republic

Really solid techniques as usual Jesse! Always gives my partners some nice surprises when doing my muay thai sparring. I'll try some of these out the next time! :D
Loved the moves! I will be practicing all of these kicks. By the way though, the Superman Punch is from Muay Thai, it’s called the Cobra Punch

Me too! 😃 Thanks!! 🙌
A good educational video
Great editing Jesse! :D
I was actually shocked when I discovered you on CZcams, you are the first one who treats karate in his videos and is successful with it.
I really like the way you do karate videos. I've been doing karate since I was 3 years old. So almost since I can walk :)
I am now 19 and already have the 3' Dan, I would care the how many dan you have? :)
Greetings from Germany :)
Dan does not matter bro! Skills does!
3rd DAN at 19 ? uffff
Great work again. Love your techniques. Osu.
Beautiful
Thanks for the video, I like it because it is usefull for me as a Kyokushin karateka. Point to consider: if your low kick is blocked with the knee it will be very painful for you, so I tend not to use the low kick as the first attack in the combo when the opponent is in his good balance, strength, and reading capabilities. I like to feint with some strikes to the body and than follow/end with a low kick. I wonder why most combo's consist of 3 techniques, is there a reaon or explanation for? Is it to keep it simple because that works the best? I mean 4 or 5 attacks are less simple than 3. And I agree that for combo's there is one good rule: the simpler the better.
Thanks Alot
God tips on using different kicks.
If executed correctly they can definitely do damage. OSs
Master Sensei Kenny🥋🥋🥋🥋
Amazing video! I pratice Wing tsun now, but i also praticed shotokan karate for two years. In that time i never saw a low kick, maybe because i was a low belt...
Expecting more techniques like this
thank you
Thank you❤❤❤
Another thing I’d like to share is kicking with the ball of the foot which is done in Isshinryu. Low kicking with the ball of the foot to the chin, knee, lower foot and all the places you mentioned will more than likely maime a person or cripple them so they could not fight back. Isshinryu traditionally uses no kicks higher than the waist and for self defense it’s perfect. Thanks for sharing and helping people understand bunkai too along with the importance of Kata. Keep it going Jesse!
Great video can you post a video on shadowboxing with movements
Awesome 👍 content
Jesse Sensei, love from Kyokushin family ❤️
Osu.! From India ❤️
Great combos, great video, great character.
Sure as, I will be punishing legs at my next lesson 😁👌
