I am _so_ glad so many Hermits are pulling back from grinding out megabuilds, and focusing more on doing manageable chunks of them interspersed with hanging out together! _This_ is what got me hooked on Hermitcraft ages ago, and I am so happy to see more of this vibe again! No shade on people who do actually love cranking out those megabuilds, but it's the personalities that I love, and you just can't get that from grindy timelapses.
Plus this is way less work and more fun for them, so less burn out and more episodes and more second channel fun.

The main reason I enjoy Hermitcraft is the random unscripted shenanigans.
Iskall was my introduction to hermitcraft, and it was the interactions with the other hermits that has kept me coming back and caused me to branch out to more of them such as Impulse.
Glad to see Impulse continuing the proud builder tradition - using new, revolutionary redstone blocks as interior decoration lol.
Makes me think of Tango's pain when Scar said it's the best new decorative block

It would be funny if the new auto crafter created Luddite hermits. Hermits who teamed up to be against the new auto crafter and how it changes the hermitcraft economy.
We have words still used today from them. Sabotage is one. They threw their wooden shoes in the machines to intentionally break them.
It would not only create funny content but educational content too.

Since Joel is also adamant about making a glow ink sac farm since you guys seem to be doing similar designs with colorful signs, I would love to see a collaboration between the two of you making the farm together.
What sounds do the glow squid heads make, I wonder? I know the normal ones are bubble sounds, but are the glowy bois the same?

Hey Impy just remember to wax your signs to lock them. Unlocked, editable signs create a SIGNIFICANT amount of lag; your neighbors will thank you for locking them!

Joel’s Japanese cyberpunk city on the hill next to your cyberpunk city below is going to look so dope
since impulse is going more Dystopian, my headcannon has them as the same city, with the modern dystopian for the general rabble, and the wealthier people can afford to live in the nicer district up on the hill.
Same tbh Gems more fantasy setting I imagine ie how the city was before industry Scars is for lack better term is holiday camp and Grian is the place where the jobs are and Tangos is kinda the slow shift with Ethis being an small almost subhurb with peaks base and all

7:11 if you have the "Not Enough Animations" mod, it's just that you're holding something, so it shows your model holding the torch out like it looks in 1st person.
I'm pretty sure even Optifine (spelling?) did something similar for me?? it's one of the only mods I ever installed and iirc the torch thing also happened to me, took me forever to figure out lol

The new cyberpunk skin looks really cool! 13:14 Wow I didn’t expect that slime farm to produce so many slimeballs! Especially after seeing Mumbo’s super efficient swamp based slime farm in his 2nd & 3rd Hermitcraft season 10 episodes.

Honestly if your whole community is worried about lag with too many farms, you could build a bunch of community superfarms inside cherry mountain and just share farm production.
Etho laughing like a kid again! These last few seasons of Hermitcraft and Life series have really brought out the kid in him and I love it.
Also you Pearl and Gem are still an amazing trio. Imuplse the adult, Pearl the rascal kid and Gem the teenager that just does her thing while visibly rolling her eyes at Impulse and Pearl's antics (while secretly/not-so-secretly happy to be with them).
It just occurred to me, you may have to do the number of entities in the Boat. So get a strider writing a strider, get two of those in the boat, after the baby strider grows up ride the top strider with two parrots on each shoulder. Zedaph can help as he put the most number of entities in a boat as one of his goals previously. I'd love to see how high could go.

can't wait to see the city develop. One suggestion I have is to look into a good shader set up, especially once you get more of the neon lighting around the city with the glowing signs and end rods. A good shader will really help that pop. Not something you would play with all the time but just to show off the build
That was such an intense race! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Both you and Mumbo put on an incredible show. Racing is always so exciting to watch. Can't wait for the next one!
You know what i think would be cool? If you dig a trench right next to the long side of the building and extend it downwards, maybe with multiple beefy vertical segments, then you could also integrate the river spilling downwards like some some of sewage system/ undercity :) i think it would really add to the build!
Ok now that i've finished the episode: I ADORE all the little details in the soup stall!! Barseats and paintings and glowy countertops, and the mention of a villager staffing it reminds me of Bdubs' sushi cart in the S7 Aquetown shopping district... Epic
One tip for the tools hanging from the kitchen hob: you can use the armourstand book with some tripwire hooks to create tool racks! That would let you hang the actual tools instead of just displaying the items. And maybe using some darker blocks directly above the furnaces, as if the smoke has stained that area over time?
I love that you're pushing yourself to learn new skills and building styles, and very glad to watch you on this journey :D

I really think this casual play style that almost all Hermits has going on is super cool. I do enjoy this season so far. Keep it going.
Joel (smallishbeans) has a glowsquid/ink farm that you could probably ask about, Mr. Impulse, sir. And you def need a custom model for a bow to look like a cyber punk style gun!

I love ianxofour's wool farm so much! It goes through shears really quickly, but wow does it ever work really well and you quickly build up your wool stores
So excited for impulse’s perspective this entire year!!! Cyberpunk is such a fun idea, I feel like frog lights are gonna look so cool in this theme (obvs not rn because it’s still early game 😂)

Having so many hermits living around the mountain was a fantastic idea. Having everyone so close together makes so many great interactions, and I haven't been able to get enough of this season because of it. I'm caught up with 4 or 5 hermit's perspectives so far, and I'll probably be watching even more.
This season has been great, I think the idea of spending more time together, rather than having to create "events" makes it so fun. The Pig Boat Rocket ship is one of my favourites (among a number of others). Taking a slower approach I think makes a lot of sense and more fun.
Put banners on the stall hanging down! Like a Japanese ramen shop but soup and would add more detail
For the boat fishing: I would try that the person in the boat counts down. In Grian video it looks waaay higher and my guess is that (because he always counts down) you all get the “go” at the same time if he is on the fished side. If Grian is on the fishing side he has the signal a few moments earlier (discord/voicemod delay) and already pulls the boat up a bit. While when he counts down you all pull at (about) the same time. (I guess that reaction speed is a bigger factor but maybe it’s worth a try)
Oh and I love the Texture Pack :)
i think you should use the armorstand mod to make the soup on the counter look like it's actually sitting up, as well as maybe a pickle or unlit candle for cups/condiments. or use custom heads to make a bigger bowl. this little soup shop is super beautiful, i think you could easily become known for tiny interiors as well as your huge symmetrical builds

The seedy streetside noodle shop is a fixture in cyberpunk media, so that's a fitting first addition to the city! Lovin' the skin as well ... can't wait to see Bdubs' first building and watch the city come together!

Soup kitchen looks amazing although i had an idea for one of the walls. You could put up some stained glass and water behind it as a drink dispensor for your customers. You could even put it different colors for diferent flavours of drinks
Love your new look and i love the cyberpunk building style. Most importantly, I love that the Hermits are hanging out together! If none of you finish your builds because you were busy playing together, that'd be just fine.

I think making it into a city of Kowloon but in the future would make it much better, more in line with dystopian (or utopian, depending who you ask) vibe. Interconnected, weirldy shaped buildings, pop up shops everywhere, city u can get lost in.
I'm really loving the different vibes this season has so far, so I'd be really happy to see all that collaborative spirit keep going!

Your aesthetic for all of your builds are so wonderful, so now bringing a sense of high energy with all the tiny details is going to shoot all of your builds into a WHOLE new level. I love all the shenenigans going on this season. As much as I enjoyed the builds and games and stuuf of last season, all the fun you guys are having are making each episode a joy to watch, rather than a way to view the results or something. Absolutely loving it!! I believe you have found the perfect balance. Some progression but not "mega" over the top all at once. Loads of laughs and fun with other Hermits mixed in. Also love the fact that you are open to modifying the build IF you feel it might need it later. I often do a build then stand back and think "hmmm maybe this instead just here." Not always needed but always a possibility. Anyway, love your content. Love your face. :)

Blast furnace makes perfect sense in the kitchen, after all you gotta have some bread to go with the soup and you need a place to bake it! Also, love the new skin - it’s so much louder than your usual black with yellow accents but I love how it matches the city and contrasts with the cherry trees in the background, especially with the magenta ports/gadgets. The artist did an incredible job!!
He could use custom heads like ZombieCleo did in her base last season looked fantastic.

Hermitcraft may have started as just youtubers that just regularly post videos, but you all have really expanded that. Now you are also people who are movers and shakers in the Minecraft community. Through regularly being involved with the people who watch and follow this elevates us all.
I saw the cyberpunk soup stand in BDubs' video and was so delighted and impressed with it that I had to find and watch this video too. SUCH A COOL BUILD!! I am LOVING the seats, as well as the use of copper lightening rods+anvil+iron trapdoors for the exterior stand. The use of glowing dyed signs to detail the build and emphasize the cyberpunk vibe was A++. Pushing yourself artistically is resulting in some really cool builds!
