That was pretty enjoyable, the twist I’ll admit could have been less obvious. But the feels factor made up for that. It’s kinda cool hearing you read a story about actual English speakers, it sounds quite authentic! Almost as if you were from that area, but I know you’re actually Australian. So you definitely nailed it Dr, and a special thanks to the writer of this tale, Fairly7Local for putting this together for us. Can’t wait to come back!

This one had me crying in rage and sadness.
That was an amazing story!!! I found myself wanting to speak with the guy behind the curtain as soon as he was noticed for some reason. I was all like, "so, what can I do for you buddy?" before I even knew what was going on. Then I was like, "well I guess I would have been attacked at that point". Lol. Then later I'm all like, "Dayum, I woulda figured it out sooner with my previously thought dumb idea of speaking with him originally". It deff had me guessing, second guessing and then regressing again. Lol. Then it came together for a great ending!!! Although the Pops somehow saving them from the evil brother at the end would have been cool too. Lol. To the writer & awesome narrator, Thanks for all of your hard work to bring us this story!!!

I went to read the text version, just to see if I missed something, but it really does seem to me like the bad guy lost and the good guys are safe at the end. Is the Super Secret Twist part just not registering to me? Am I dumb?
@@Phantosification it must be one or the other. I didn't say good guys didn't win. I proposed a diff version of the good guys winning. An alternate ending of sorts. Smh.... Some people can't help but Karen at every perceived chance to...... That must've wadded your panties like they were put on with a can cannon..... Smh....
Every time you do this opening I immediately think “Rod Serling”. That’s a huge compliment!
This one kept me in suspense till the end. Everytime I thought I had figured it out, I was surprised. I love these story's.

This sounds very interesting!
Some of this was obvious from early on, but how it would pull together wasn't. So much could have been avoided if only this guy's mom had been honest. Feel bad for his dad. Where has he been that the mom didn't know if he was still alive?

Yeah, grading that many essays can scramble the brain a bit. Whenever I do something like that, I'll get up every five minutes and run around like a monkey with my arms over my head. It's weird, I know but I don't care because it makes me feel better!
