@@SucciSucci-vh8pr I think making groups at least 17 to 24 eases people’s discomfort with minors in groups while also still catering to that want for young idols. I think Ador, and many other companies, would succeed if they did that but I agree that they likely will not.
It’d be way easier to prove how NewJeans are being shown favoritism within Hybe instead of mistreatment.

Honestly, I'm kinda worried about the girls😶. Them and their parents showing so much support to mhj is such a bad decision. I don't understand why they would make their relationship with hybe sour, even if mhj succeed with making ador independent wouldn't alot of their relationships in the industry be ended or them maybe getting blacklisting. Hybe is new, but they have enough they do have power. If mhj stays or leaves hybe won't be cool with ador and newjeans and that is now their and their parents' fault.

It’s a shame for newjeans cause I feel they’re not really mistreated. They debuted with success benefiting from being bts sister group. They’ve interacted with bts members, had brand deals at debut, got a McDonald’s collab, a Coca Cola collab, Danielle collaborated with Disney, iPhone endorsers ect. And because their boss wouldn’t speak to them 1 time (that they mentioned) I’m supposed to care these rich teenagers are ‘mistreated’?… I’ve been mistreated by a boss before and ignoring you is nothing I would not care if I was rich and successful like them let bang pd ignore me. It’s just a shame their parents and min heejin got them throwing their careers away rn but they need some critical thinking.

OP specified praising her publicly is the issue because that implies that they agree with the things Min is doing, not just simply being on her side. Praising MinHeejin is to be expected, doing it for the world to see despite what others are going through because of MHJ is fair to criticize them for in my opinion.

@@Zainab-gd6xt I just think about the fact that even the oldest of them is still only 20, which is quite young when talking about adults. MHJ has been in the industry for at least 10 years(I think?) It's a lot easier for young people to be blinded by these sorts of things, and fall into toxic situations

When you think of someone as a parent it’s hard to accept they’re bad for your health or a bad person overall. You think even if they say hurtful things to you that it’s just constructive criticism and they’re trying to help. They have been manipulated and conditioned to think this is normal and mhj is a saint. Once you’re locked in this “cycle”, it’s almost impossible to get out. The cycle being their group, the things mhj has done/said to them. And especially when you’re very successful there isn’t much you can do. If they were to choose by their own will to disband everyone will be hating on them, and mhj as insane as she is will permanently get them blacklisted from the K-pop world. Mhj has lots of connections. She could crush their dreams in a millisecond.

I personally don't have much problems with the group since I like their first two EPs and listen to them sometimes. But I know that the group's success won't last much longer. In fact, they started to fall off with their new releases (just two years after their debut) because their formula is for fast success as well as fast and ageing consuming. Their Spotify listeners became from 16 mil up to 18 mil with their three new songs and actually they already started to decline. That is just an example of how unsuccessful are their new songs. My main problem with the group is that it is mainly a brand where I cannot manage to recognise each member's voice within their songs as well as their personality as a group because they show only a minimal side of y2k and nothing more. Plus, their brand deals are paid, they are not achieved as their seniors, and of course, I don't like idols below the age of 20 to have a deal with brands like Chanel, Gucci, LV, etc.

Whether hybe payed for it or not, they still managed to have a whole full arena so don’t compare the situation. & if you do some more research yourself you’ll see all the achievements they’ve reached just 2 years after debuting, i only mentioned tokyo dome as an example. The way i was called a "fake bunny" and is an army in disguise just because i don't feed into mhj lies, and i don't believe new jeans who's every song has a high budget music video, arranged by the company to be ambassador of luxury and mainstream brands, and lives in a dorm that all of us couldn't even imagine sleeping a night in is mistreated just because bang didn't say hello back to them. Okayy so before i start kinda defending newjeans imma say that i’m also very disappointed that their supporting min heejin, at first i think they were manipulated but they’ve gradually proved that their on min heejin’s side by own choice. This does not mean i’ll stop stanning or listening to them though.
1. I don’t think Danielle thanking Min heejin in her speech means that they agree with EVERYTHING she’s done and said, and it wasn’t said by the whole group (no hate to Danielle, she’s genuinely a sweetheart)
2. Hyein’s post was not a shade to illit, it was talking about how Haerin likes to copy what her members do, and in this instance Haerin had worn the same outfit as Hyein in which she posted that.

All that support by NJ for MHJ, although understandable, really turned me off from the group. It's part of the reason why I no longer listen to their songs on spotify then skip their media on YT. I don't think there's a big change without them since their music is also really mild.
