Hi I have the case and find it great also I leave the stick on and cover them with a strip of polystyrene the same depth as the sticks and I have thin elastic band to fit over the blades not to tight just in place

I've got the Mini 3 Pro and am still learning more about it. But I ordered the hard shell case that also fits the smart controller instead of the standard controller.

Nice, informative video Chris. I'm not very knowledgeable with using filters but since I'm flying the Mini 3 so often, the filters and Mini 3 would be a good platform to learn. Hope new granddaughter and mom are doing well..

Chris, I fly the mavic 2 pro for real estate exteriors. I am wondering about the mavic 3 mini for interior fly through video, have you used inside under natural lights?
I have and personally don’t think that’s the way to go for interior. I would go with a regular camera that stabilizes the image and even add a hand held gimbal but something that will enable you to capture wide shots in tight spots.

Great job reviewing this case Chris. So many gloss over the fine points of a case, or show it but say nothing about possible problems or flaws with the case. Because your reviews are thorough and honest you are the only review the viewer need watch. Your point about the propeller straps made total sense, a very valid point that may save someone’s drone.

Correct. I'm not a Mini fan at all. The Air 2S is my size preference.

Nice case, I have one too..
I almost bought this one looked great, but the stick part is why I got a different one for. There are actually stubby sticks you can get. Def would work with this. I have their prop strap/cradle and ND filters. I did like the strap, but did notice it does push on the top props a bit
My strap did seem to stretch and no stretching to put on anymore though. Props are still in good shape. My Skyreat screen protectors came today, but i have not applied one though.

There are SO many cases out - they were easier to get than the damn drone for a while. 🙄Pgytech, Startrc, Skyreat, Nanuk, GPcases. I like the idea of a "minicase" to keep it light, as long as I can get Drone+3 batteries+filters minimally.
Saw this same one under another brand -they do that a LOT with Chinese goods - available in "Black" or "Gary"? 🤔 (the color you have here) 🤔 LOLOL Too bad they only offer light Gary. I like a dark Gary myself.

Yes that’s their Amazon store name. They are also StartRC but those are the correct links. Silly Chinese way of doing things 👍🏻

Chris, Have you ever had any issues with gimbal vibration or erratic behavior while using ND filters? I see complaints in customer reviews on Amazon and other sites but I never hear reviewers discussing it.
I have in the past but most reputable makers of filters today make them extremely light. I mentioned it with the Evo mini but that was just happening in sport mode at a certain angle. That’s acceptable in my book 👌
I was expecting that you will show how hard the case is. Is it like the one from GoPro?
Don’t have the one from gopro so I couldn’t say. It’s hard enough to toss around without hurting the contents and not hard enough to sit on or stack heavy items on.

I'll tell you Chris, if I had a Mini3 Pro, I might even tell you I'm a Steelers fan to get the ND filters. But alas, I don't.....I do however have a fondness to the 70's Steelers teams.....

The one reason I won't buy a soft case, where the RC joysticks aren't protected, is I don't want to lose one putting them on/off. Being an Old Fart with fumbly fingers, that is important to me.

Chris, since 25+ people were “selected” for your giveaway of a few items, I assumed someone is attempting to run a scam off your video.
That was a bot scammer which I reported and blocked but yes they tend to follow the giveaway videos.
Great recommendation on case. I have 3 and this will likely be my 4th. I wish one of these companies would make it so you can put the controller facing down while protecting the sticks. They all have them facing up where the screen can be scratched or pressure put on the sticks. I know you can always take the sticks out but each time is a hassle and one more chance you will lose a stick. This case seems to almost check all the boxes. Will check it out through your link!
Also, if you don't mind me posting a video I'd like some advice as to what kind of filter I could have used on my Mini 3 Pro to make the sunset pop a bit more, but not darken the trees too much. Any thoughts? czcams.com/video/QQgzCHaVFRM/video.html

Try a 32 and 64 for a bright sunset and see what that does but it’s very dependent on having the camera setup correctly and slow movements or better yet still shooting.
