  • Locker Nuts episode 318
    I bought this little 5x5 online for a kinda-hefty price of $380 plus fees. It was a complete gamble, as the lousy photos revealed little to base my bid on. But it was well worth it, as I have already uncovered a treasure trove of vintage designer clothing including Versace and Chanel. In the last episode, we found a box which appears to have designer jewelry inside. I've saved that for last... let's get to it!
    Here is some of the gear that I use on a regular basis:
    Jewelry Loupe Magnifier amzn.to/2ycfRq6
    GoPro Hero8 Camera amzn.to/3cbvOfv
    GoPro Chest Mount harness amzn.to/395eHKD

    Regarding The Ferragamo shoe: the black patent leather toe (is the shiny leather stuck to the paper). My grandmother taught me to use 'VASELINE' to clean and condition Patent Leather. I always used it on patent leather and never had a problem with stickiness but I do know if you use a silcon type of lubricant on it it can cause the leather to peel up.( curl and unattach from the binding material.)
    Note: You do not want the patent leather to touch anything else while the vaseline is drying on it. I always used my fingers to apply it and a soft torn t-shirt to remove excess. also fyi: vaseline cleans marks off of white patent leather too!

    I am a polymer clay artist, we use pasta machines to roll out the clay, the most desired is anything made in Italy, the beat pasta machine is Marcato/Atlas. You put aside pots and pans to donate, in it is a stainless pasta strainer, those sell for decent money, I paid quite a
    bit for mine

    Hubby sold a 21" cast iron skillet for $2k. That Nordic Ware cast iron pan is for a pancake treat called Ibelskiiver (sp?).

    • @alanatolstad4824
      @alanatolstad4824 Před 4 lety

      His is actually for making silver dollar pancakes. The aebelskiver pan is deeper, for turning the dumpling shaped balls of dough. (Aebelskiver is very popular in Solvang, but I tried them, and don't care for the 'doughiness' of them, even with the jam that you can get to go with them.)

    • @organizersrus
      @organizersrus Před 4 lety

      21” Wow!!! My husband and I love to cook on cast iron and have a ton but have never heard of a Pan that large. We have a Griswold 14” that we use alot and just love it but it’s almost too large for the burner. Is the 21” used over the top of 2 burners??
      $2k is crazy amazing! Did he sell it on ebay?

  • @mookiepookie444

    THIS locker! 🙌🏼
    THIS one is an AUTHENTIC gem! Who knew so many golden finds were hidden inside upon first glance? This woman had class and style ... her unit is now regarded as my personal favorite. 😁✨
    About the Salvatore Ferragamo heels ... if you’re looking to get the maximum dollar for those shoes, it will require a little investment. (I know 😕 ... but it’s true) I recommend investing in Saphir shoe products. To get rid of the stickiness on the leather portion, using a soft old t-shirt rub ONLY white vinegar (circular motions) until all the sticky stuff is removed. This will take several applications but you will get it off. Follow up with Saphir leather cleaner and conditioner-1.
    Regarding the patent leather portion on the toe cap, there is only one trusted product I know of that will remove the tissue and restore the patent leather to a brand new finish ; a bottle of Saphir “Vernis Rife” patent leather cleaner.
    I think I’ve mentioned it before on other channels, but having at least the Saphir leather cleaner-conditioner on hand will definitely come in handy when you find those amazing leather shoes and purses; basically anything leather. Just a real little bit goes a long way with these products and will surely increase your profits. I promise. 😊
    No, I don’t work for Saphir, their products are just that good, lol.
    Another side note, unfortunately you won’t achieve the same effect with Kiwi shoe products. Been there, tried it. 😕
    OR, if you choose to sell them “as is” at your auction, I hope the buyer takes my advice. I would never steer anyone wrong. 😊
    Looking forward to the next video, Jack! 😊

They are flipped over when browned, the other side is browned, then they are removed to plates and have syrup or jam on each one, then gobbled up. They are soooo good!
