Never seen this option to pre-save songs, it's awesome
I love all three influences! Beautiful. Great job Anthony!
It was wonderful! Will be going to Spotify. đ
This is frekin awesome man! Watching this, I got the same feeling I did when I watched yours and Jared Dines version of Bad Guy in the style of Breaking Benjamin, this was wicked good dude, most definitely will be putting this on my playlist!
Really fucking good man!!!
"In the style of Bring Me The Horizon" is such a massive range of options, but still such a unique and easy to recognize sound somehow.
I hear a lot of Sleepwalking in this cover
it's literally sleepwalking with as it was lyrics xd
and Can you feel my heart
i hear a multitude of the greatest bmth songs in this cover but it just works
the chorus is literally sleepwalking with the lyrics to as it was
I can hear Sleepwalking and Die4u
I love that you've chosen the style of "Sleepwalking" for this. It goes really well
it also has some elements from Can You Feel My Heart and Shadow Moses. In other words, it's in the style of Sempiternal Album.
I think this is totally based in "That's the spirit"
Sempiternal was darker and not as melodic
It's closer to "throne" "lost" "true friends" ... Stuff like that
Honestly the most impressive thing about Anthony is just how he nails so many vocalists, often completely different, voices and styles.
TRUE.
Well to be fair his channel did used to be based around impressions
@@VelinSevven In a way it still is, but just taken to a level that's over 9000, with a lot of original creativity in arranging and essentially writing/composing as needed to bring it to life.
This works ridiculously well. Honestly just proof that BMTHâs cross platform/genre appeal really is impressive.
Yes!!
Its quite saddening as they've become rather shite after Sempiternal, like their early stuff was so damn heavy
Exactly
@@NewHandleWhoDeez did you listen to post human survival horror that EP is better then sempiternal, and that comes from a long time fan.
Oli, said he doesn't really wanna scream anymore, and the whole band are like in their mid 30's now and no angry teenagers, they make stuff they like now, and idk if you listened to die4u but that song is a fucking banger.
â@@NewHandleWhoDeez In "Heavy Metal" they dissed guys like you, who cares only for heavy stuff xd
If they were stuck in their subgenre, they wouldn't be as popular as they are now. I am happy about that they are doing things the way that they do it because they can introduced heavy stuff to whole new audience, especially thanks to collabs. Also their repertoire is so big and varied that anyone can find song for themself.
This is way more challanging than repeating constantly the same songs every album.
As an example let's bring up fall out boy. I am respecting their decisions about their sound, just don't like their new poppy style. Anyway, someday they released Pax Am Days, in 2013, just before "Save Rock n Roll" album. Pax Am Days sounds like their early albums with heavy punk/hardcore influence. They made it in a fucking week, WEEK. 8 tracks in 7 days, produced, mixed just WTF. They proved that they still can play heavy stuff and i am sure they had a fun making this, but how long can you make the same thing without getting bored or exhausted? Also this is easy, there is no challange in it if you at the level when you play in a band 10+ years. Maybe because they are still developing new sounds, they are still around here. They still can a make an event and play their old songs just for old fans. IMO this is the same case with BMTH.
Don't make your judge on them just because they make stuff that you don't like. It's okey to dislike their songs, everyone has different taste. But if you consider quality of production, mixing, variety of genres and influences that they implement in their songs and so on... you just can't objectively tell that they make shit. In terms of quality of their stuff this is far better than sempiternal, just in a bit different style.
Plenty of artists can belt notes, and plenty can sing, but not many can find the real balance between singing while screaming quite like Ollie, but you do a fantastic job of singing in his style.
This is so incredibly similar to sempiternal its almost creepy, very well done!
feels exactly the same as sleepwalking
It's like a sleepwalking
righttt
This is literally a version of sleepwalking lmao
To me is sounds very much like something from spirit, like drown
Even the little vocal cries at the end of the screams in the verses? Oh my god this is perfect.
All it's missing for that extra cherry on top is Oli's classic "reaching for help" stance lol
Jesus! Your Oli Sykes is spot on and he has really unique quirks to his voice. Amazing!!!
He's missing the thick British accent, otherwise it's brilliant
@@slippingjimmys itâs specifically Sheffield, which is in Yorkshire. As a Brit, I take minor offense as to when you generalize it as just a âBritish accentâ. Thereâs many. Same deal as how you canât do just an âAmerican accentâ, because there are many.
@@goner.9989 đ€âïž
@@vulpes3018 there are many*
Lmao nah. Oli sounds unique!
Can't believe Todd made it .. you killed it guys! the second verse sounds exactly like sleepwalking and the pre chorus is literally DROWN WoW!
I haven't even heard the original yet but this sounds AWESOME. Really captured a lot of different eras of the band, from Sempiternal to amo!
Obviouly no Instagram. đ
The original is actually pretty good too
When I saw Anthony post this, I looked up the original first to know what I was about to hear. It was two minutes and forty-five seconds of my life I won't get back, but it's good to know what he was working with.
This was so much better than the original, and I'm not a much of a BMTH fan, but it sounded pretty spot-on.
definitely doesn't sound anything like count your blessings but the band itself hasn't sounded anything like that since either đ
Same with me, I've never heard it haha. Nice work by Anthony (as always).
2:45 that screamâ€
TIMEE STOOD STILLL THE WAY IT DID BEFOREEE
2:45 DAMN! Todd goes in HARD!
Whoa, this is truly an original cover and interpretation of this song. Most rock covers are more predictable and follow the same melodies with heavier bits. But this sounds completely different and unrecognizable to the original, in a good way.
Sorry, but this ainât rock, itâs metal
I think Breaking Bad Guy is the best so far.
This was so fun dude, thanks for screaming at me ily đ
Ladies and Gentlemen: Todd Barriage! đđđ
almost cried listening to this cause it sounds like their older stuff and it just took me back
Same my friend, felt like I went back in time and made me feel younger again heh
older stuff? you mean from That's the Spirit?
@@mrwhippy3756 sounds more like Sempiternal
@@scorpihoe hmm... low-key sounds like "seen it all before." You right. I forget how good sempiternal actually is. Thanks for making me go back and revisit such a good album again
It's as if Sempiternal and Survival Horror had a baby! This version has the vibes of Sleepwalking and something else that make it sound really fresh and I love it
Sempiternal is my favorite bmth album and I like how we can find similar sounds, like the bridge if shadow Moses or the one of hospital for soul. The song is so amazing this way !!!
Bring Me The Horizon has so many styles they have used its hard to pin a single distinct style, but this definitely "feels" like BMTH, that just raw unfiltered emotion no matter if they are doing screamo, metal, or something experimental..
Okay but for years Iâve tried to find good covers like this of one direction and Harry and I have a vision- youâre the first to fulfill it. Please make more of Harry! Iâd be your biggest fan.
I'm always impressed Anthony's ability to mimic the tone of other singers. Maybe he doesn't sound exactly like Ollie sounds but there's definitely parts where it sounds just like him, especially in the vocal fry/screaming. Great job!
BMTH is absolutely in my top 5 favs of all time, and you captured their diverse, thrilling style really well imo. also harry styles is just objectively iconic so this is the sickest thing i've ever heard high key
I love BMTH, this tracks works EXCEPTIONALLY as one of theirs. The staccato playing, the vocals. I could totally see Olly Sykes singing this. It could definitely be a cut from Sempiternal or Post Human
Btw, as a wedding DJ, I find some of your remixes set the mood perfectly while keeping interest in the familiarity of the song.
As it was feels like Sleepwalking !!!!
This sounds surprisingly well. You did great recreating BMTH's sound.
Anthony *AND* Todd?? Hell yeah, guys.
This is so _f u c k i n g_ good, seriously an instant fave from you
It's just perfect, I'm in love with this version
Spotify this, please! I would listen to it on loop, no lie.
Edit: It's been 23 minutes between this comment and this edit, and I'm still hitting the replay button... Anthony :/
Iâm sure you already know, but in case you donât? Itâs on Spotify now!
I have it on loop rn
It's so great to see Todd coillaborating with such a huge icon of youtube music! Both of you kick ass, this was a pleasure through and through!
Bro I love BMTH I was waiting so long for you to do them and now we're getting an entire song. And you're doing a very good job at replicating their sound
I often wonder if the origininal artists ever see these. This shit slaps.
Oli usually watch a lot of this, and sometimes he shared it on his Instagram, but I don't know for this one
The accuracy you are able to achieve is always astounding. Keep up the incredible work!
Honestly had you not told me it was a harry styles song Iâd of just said âoh you did a bmth coverâ. Brilliant
Damn he got better at screaming! I remember when he was struggling to get these kinds of sounds out. This sounds amazing.
It's scary how similar to BMTH it actually sounds. Great cover!
I need more Anthony Vincent metal covers of songs!!! Bad Guy, Numb and now this good god đđŒđđŒ
Soooo happy to see Todd collabing with a huge youtuber like Anthony. This made my day
This is diabolical. It shouldnât be legal for a song to be this good. You guys absolutely nailed it
as a famous sports caster from Brazil would say: Anthony Vincent, you're RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!
All those years and I still didn't get disappointed from any of your uploads, cheers man!
Didn't know Todd, I'm absolutely gonna follow him from now on lol
Meteu essa
Todd is so good! He creates some really cool musical arrangements.
This is the first Harry Styles song I like. Of course that really means I like an Anthony Vincent song. Fantastic.
Holy shit this goes hard! I listened to the Harry Styles song first, just to have it fresh in my mind, and then I listened to a BMTH song just to have another point of reference... You guys freakin' nailed it! This sounds exactly like BMTH! Incredible talent and hard work... so freaking awesome. Like, figuring out where to put the fry screams, where to put the heavy instrumentation, how to change the flow and tempo of the song, while retaining the original... seriously, this is some next level stuff.
the trademark oli falsetto flips at the end of the screams are so spot on man, good job
I love both Harry Styles and BMTH so this a win-win-situation for me.
Sempiternal vibes especially Sleepwalking
I'm getting serious Take This Life by In Flames vibes-and I love it.
Never heard of the original version so I listened to this then that. Boy I didnât realize how much of a thank you Harry owes you for making his song great.
I heard, 4th track from Sempiternal, like it ;)
IT'S SO COOL TO SEE TODD COLLABORATING WITH YOU! And what an awesome cover that is!
This sounds like something out of Sempiternal's B-side. And I mean that as a compliment in every single way.
even the BASS is ridiculously realistic !
I haven't had a chance to listen to the original version of the song, so for me this is really like a very well done BMTH cover. I sometimes can imagine Oli's voice through yours.
You sir are incredible.
Love the drums from sleepwalking in this, fits perfectly
Sleepwalking is not a good song, no matter how much yall try to say it is.
Wrong
@@cedaley i think sleepwalking is an amazing. The breakdown hits just right and the song itself is really enjoyable. You may not like it but that doesnât mean the rest of us donât.
Yaaas Todd collab. This sounds amazing.
02:01 TIME STANDS STIIIIIIIIL
this is INSANE such a fantastic collab!!!
came in watching with trepidation on how you guys would pull off BMTH and you guys killed it in a way that i couldnt of fathomed! the talent is real guys keep doing the good work!
God this nailed the That's the Spirit era sound.
Bro this is the sound I miss so much from the post hardcore days not just bmth but everyone in general. Late 2000s early 2010s
Bro this is incredible. The arrangement is great but Holy shit the vocals are so spot on to Oli and his style đđ»đ€đ»
Don't know BMTH but after hearing this style, I think they're my new fav band!
You should check out their album called "Sempiternal"
listen to sempiternal, it's perfect
This sound is them in their Sempiternal/That's the Spirit days. They have both heavier and softer material than this. Have fun!
It's really really close to their song Sleepwalking in particular.
There is a Hell... is the better album.
if you like this style also check out their album Post Human: Survival Horror
Dude....this is your sound man...I have listened to this 100000000 times and I can't get enough....
There are some moments in this where I forgot it wasn't actually Oli. That impression was absolutely spot on in some places.
Dude i was a little sad not seeing recent like 20 styles vids but these are waaaayyyyy more worth the wait! Do these more! Love it! Youâre a legend!
This is huge and well deserved for Todd. Congrats on yet another amazing video!
Jesus man. That was unreal how well that works.
When Todd goes Heavy it's a rarity but a nice rarity all the same
Very sleepwalking-esque. similar structure and vibe. well done
This legit gave me chills. Your voices together was just so goddamn amazing. Blown the frick away! I think I'm going to be listening to this one on repeat for a while. Your voices are just so beautiful in this one. I can't even lol.
The guy in the office next to me just heated up his lunch and it smells so good.
This is sooo accurate! I love how you absolutely catch the BMTH vibe with the instrumental and the vocals changing between scream and singing. Good job dude!
Also this sounds so much better than the original IMO.
After listening this very interesting cover version of As it Was with BMTH style, this whole song melody does sounded like a combination vibes of Sleepwalking (Sempiternal, 2013) and Throne (Thatâs The Spirit, 2015). And it actually worked, keep up your awesome cover style songs Anthony!!! Canât wait to hear more surprising or better yet, more cover song style with my all time favorite, Linkin Park!!!
Finally a man of culture. I was searching for this cover. I felt the Sleepwalking vibes all over the song. Great Mix Up..
Yes Todd!!! So happy to see him getting the recognition he deserves. His mash ups are straight đ„
Iâm playing this on repeat like this was a track on the Sempiternal album.
I'm so happy to see my man Todd Barriage getting some attention here. You two killed it as always.
BMTH is one of my all time favorite bands but I do love me some Harry Styles too, and I can only say this is ridiculously awesome. It's like Sleepwalking but it has that That's the Spirit vibe too and the vocals are so spot on! I'm so glad this will be on Spotify! Great job dudes! đ€đŒ
I find this to be the perfect representation of the band
this is ridiculously accurate
This is so freaking good. Been on replay
Perfect job emulating Oli's voice and the band's style overall. The bend at 1:34 is the only part of this song that I couldn't imagine Lee Malia playing note for note.
Todd is a gangster, I think he's really doing this kind of content in a great way on his channel too.
holy shit!!! amazing!!! as a harry fan and a bmth fan i am OVERWHELMED!
I was just listening playlist from youtube this came up and i was thinking this is some BMTH song ive never heart until the chorus came up
this and numb in the KSE style, can't stop listening to them.
Love the way your vocal tones blend!
Just two incredible musicians covering a song and nailing it. đ€
Just hope BMTH watches this video and start perform this song live

Best
This is next level! One of the best covers you've ever done IMHO.
What the actual FUCK dude?? This legitimately gave me goosebumps -- the arrangement on this is beautiful, the production is perfect, both of your vocal tracks absolutely NAILED it, and the drums are an absolute deadringer for Bring Me -- I was NOT prepared to have an emotional reaction to this, but GODDAMN son, this is SO GOOD! This might be my favorite styles track you've ever produced! WELL. FUCKING. DONE. đđđ
Sempternal vibes! Great surprise!!
DUDE.... Holy SHIIIITBALLZ YOUR OLI IS SOOOOO ON POINT!
This is great. Sounds like a song that would've been on That's the Spirit.
Bro this goes way too hard wtf
finally, BMTH getting the recognition they deserved
The baby Yoda behind you is so charming!
Iâve never heard the original, and now I have no desire. No way itâs better than this version. Great job guys! đđŒđđŒ
same here lol
My curiosity really paid off! This was a banger! The structure sounds very similar to sleepwalking đ€ the Oli impression slips after the first minute but he sounded almost the same to begin with! Maximum effort chaps! Absolute chef's kiss, lyrically it works with the sound too.
Really good arrangement, also nailed a lot of the quirks in Oliâs voice
to me it feels like i'm listening to an official BMTH song, THIS IS AMAZING
