The text of the Russian ad, if you are interested:
This is the first day of your new life. What happened yesterday doesn't matter. Who you were before doesn't matter to anyone. What matters now is who you will be today.
What do you know about yourself? What are you capable of? Questions may go unanswered, but can you then sleep peacefully? To know yourself, to know your limits. To hell with the limits! Are you ready to break yourself, to the point of exhaustion, every day? Here pain hardens, scars are a daily occurrence. You're the one who decided to prove something to yourself. The commander is here only so you can see him as the enemy. Because without an enemy there is no combat, and without combat there is no victory.
But the real enemy is you. Yesterday's you. Your task is to hunt down the enemy. Catch up with him. Surpass him. Become better than him and come back victorious.
Because tomorrow is the first day of your new life.

Michelle, you can't even imagine what a smile on my face and what warmth in my heart causes rolling eyes and a heavy sigh at the phrase about "two mothers" and "rainbow banners".
This is my personal opinion on this "rainbow" part: "Military tasks are serious, complex, dangerous. There is no place for anything other than responsibility, subordination, skills, cold calculation and following orders. When you go into the army by conscription or under a contract, in any case , you become for some time an almost completely impersonal being. You throw out all your personal thoughts and desires "I like it", "I don't like it", "this is not fair", "I’m disgusted", "I think that this not right", "I disagree", "I'm not like everyone else". If there was no order, then you do not express anything other than the readiness to fulfill some order and fulfill it by spending all your skill, courage, brave, honor. And although you may have some peculiarities of the body, say, once a month you "menstruate", in a real battle even this case should not in any way interfere with the execution of an order or interfere with the effectiveness of the execution of the order of other soldiers. If this can interfere and affect efficiency, then in this case it is logical for you that you simply should not be in the army and it is logical that the Army should remove such a soldier from serious operations. You become depersonalized. There is no longer "you" in the army, you become part of a mechanism, big weapon attack if necessary for a higher goal (I will not say that the goals of the leadership may sometimes not coincide with some norms even of morality, here the responsibility lies on the shoulders of those who "feed" the "army leadership" and who can punish the "leadership army" and "do not feed" and prevent the appearance of "wrong" people on high command posts where critical decisions are made).
And what is usually the main goal of the army? Because in the Russian Federation, for example, almost every schoolchild from 11-12 years old is aware of the events of the WW2 , the losses of this time from history lessons, he at least understands these goals a little and he often knows what real heroism is, not fabulous. Since he knows this not only from school knowledge, but also from the stories of parents from films about the WW2 (yes, they seem boring and uninteresting to children) that are shown on television, from the presence of the holiday "May 9", due to the large still unfading attention to the losses of the Soviet Army and the civilian population in folklore, in music. Almost every person in Russia understands what war is and why an army is needed, even if he does not want to join the army and even if he never held a weapon in his hands. He knows that the Army, first of all, is needed in case of emergency to protect (!) his family, friends, children, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers if there is any attack, and that the army is needed to protect the borders of the country in which you live and to prevent conflicts (! not unleashing conflicts !). The army must be ready under any conditions. And now a legitimate question: Why the propaganda of the LGBT movement is "woven" here. Let someone explain to me how these ideas will help the army to be strong, while logically, no ideas other than following the orders of the command should be present?
Honestly, I’ll say something else from myself and in these words, I hope, the difference between “governments of countries” + “government political courses” + “government political views” and “the point of view of an ordinary civilian” will be noticeable: If something goes wrong in this world of insane political confrontations, and it will come to a world conflict, then after I would protect my country, my loved ones and after I would deprive the head of the evil that gave rise to the conflict, I would try to help in other places and i would like to leave the borders of all other countries as they are and would leave all civilians alone with their culture, languages, with their democracies, monarchies, constitutions, totalitarianisms and communisms, even with their love and dislike of LGBT ideas, although I don’t really like LGBT and communism idea too.
After watching various videos, hearing widespread opinions, let's say Americans, it began to seem to me that someone is trying to nurture all over the world, in ordinary citizens, a strange idea that Russia is an aggressor, an imperialist and an invader, but this is not so.
Of course, this is just a fantasy on the topic "if my opinion influenced something", being part of the Army, I will not decide anything, and will not express any opinion, I will only follow orders, and the higher ranks will make decisions, but I think that the way an individual citizen is set up, so many others may well be set up including those who will join the military in the future.
Anyway, greetings from Russia. Happy new year, have a nice day and wish you a good mood!

@Amateur Productions In his decisions, too, there is no absolute evil or absolute good. Only the pursuit of Russian security interests, non-stop strategic and tactical analytics at all levels, from the smallest to the most serious threats and intelligence activities. If the ruler of your country were in Putin's place, he would also have to make difficult decisions based on information that is a state and military secret for any country. And neither I nor you, unfortunately, know what was going on and is going on behind the scenes of the government of countries and what the USA, Russia, Ukraine, the European Union discussed before the conflict in any year. What if someone heard the real truth and the real plans and "disappeared" along with the whole family? What if such a scenario is real not only for a resident of North Korea, Russia, China, but also for Europe and the USA? All people now live in some kind of vanilla pink world, but unfortunately, at least at the level of the leadership of any country, this world has not changed and it is the same as it was 80 and 100 and 150 years ago, except that we all have there is the Internet, through which you can absorb information at lightning speed, but the leaders of all countries, keeping the media under control, have learned to masterfully fabricate this information in order to arouse the right opinion and mood among taxpayers. Everyone has long understood that unrest among the citizens of their state should not be allowed. This idea is described in the treatise "The Art of War" for example. For some reason, no one expects an information war either and thinks that his own government will not try to reflash his consciousness with the necessary ideas, but this mechanism of influence has long been developed in peacetime and is being tested in "combat conditions" right now on the Internet. Now every second comment is a paid bot or a well-motivated troll. I can find you a video of how American TV channels fabricate fake news on a Hollywood scale in order to hurt the emotions of viewers (and if our emotions are hurt, our unprepared people immediately turn off rational thinking and the quality of information analysis drops, and in any war, emotions are mistakes and deliberate loss.). In the leaked video, there is a fragment cut from the official version, where, for the news about the allegedly dead civilians, actors are laid out on the ground and covered with "corpse bags", but at some point an error occurs and the breeze inflates the bag, and the "corpse" with their own hands begin to straighten the bag. Everyone scolds Putin, but the facts of biological weapons research are revealed, in the format of secret outsourcing in the interests of the United States. Putin is evil? Putin made a decision because intelligence reported something to him, and perhaps intelligence reported something a very long time ago and I have no doubt that intelligence is working well and I’m even afraid to find out what kind of dirt is spinning where secret intelligence networks operate. And regarding the expansion of NATO to the east, back in the 1970s, some great American strategist wrote that if this continues, it will be a great failure of NATO, because create inevitable conflict with U.S.S.R. If we find out real secret information about any side (I mean all "emotionally" involved in this conflict leadership's of European countries, USA, Russia) I'm afraid we will pose a direct threat to our countries and we will need to be eliminated, and it doesn’t matter if you have a democracy or a feudal system, so stop scolding politicians. This level of control is not available to us and will not be available. You should never give anyone the right to decide for you who is considered evil and who is not, and you should not allow these ideas to pass further towards children for example. I study information from the very beginning of the conflict from all sides (and I block CZcams on home router for my children's for some time for psychical protection, there are too many provocations, misinformation and people infected with all sorts of misinformation and "flat" thinking), because I do not trust any media and any bloggers at least for now. So far, for me, all the information is pouring into the fact that the Western media have turned on "totalitarianism" and are cunningly turning off "freedom of speech" and "freedom of thought" in their "magic democracies". Now they are imposing an opinion about Putin and Russia in all possible ways, so that in the end everyone shouts in unison "Let's get together and attack ourselves already!" At the same time, mechanisms for the destruction of reputation are activated through bullying and harassment of everyone who has a different opinion. I'm scared for Tucker Carlson and Sara Wagenknecht for example. They do not allow themselves to be "drowned out", and reason logically.

That’s the main issue with society today, masculinity is a trigger word now. As a former Royal Marine it’s good to see the Corps are still staying true to the ethos of what being a Royal Marine is all about. Young men are scorned these days for showing any form of true masculinity, combat is brutal, having 2 mums & marching for freedom won’t prevent your enemy from driving his bayonet into your chest. The armed forces are there to do a job that not everyone can do, being elitist is not a crime, you cannot open every job up to all of society as not everyone has the right attributes for that role. You need aggression, you need a dark sense of humour, you need to be able to suppress certain senses & emotions in order to get the job done. You can’t have individuals who break down & cry in the middle of a fire fight, if you rule out common sense, change training parameters & testing criteria in order to get a more diverse/ woke cross section of individuals then your preparing sheep to fight wolves which only result in one outcome.

this is, the first day of your new life
    what happened yesterday, doesn't matter
who you were in the past, doesn't matter
what's important is who you'll be today
    what you know about yourself
    what you are capable of
    questions can be left unanswered,
but will you be able to sleep at night?
know yourself, find the limits of your abilities
screw limits, are you ready to break yourself?
    do exercises, every day
    pain makes you stronger
    scars everyday
you chose to make something of yourself
the commander is only there so you can see the enemy in the morning
because without the enemy there's no fight
and without a fight there's no victory
but in reality, the true enemy is you
    the yesterday you
your mission is to track the enemy
    hunt the enemy
overcome, become better than the enemy
and to come back, a winner
because tomorrow is the first day of the new you
I think I did a good job. better than I expected anyways. and compare that to:

If you come to Russia you will try very hard to meet at least one drunk person on our streets, our president promotes healthy lifestyle. ;) People prefer to play sports, read, chat with friends and do a bunch of other things, more interesting than drinking. So you can keep the Vodka. And just for info, Russia never started wars, but we have always been polite enough to escort to his house anyone who comes to our land not with good, but with a sword. By the way, this ad is not about striving for war, it's about being ready to defend your homeland, and those, who are dear to you, be it family, friends, girlfriend, etc., that in order to be able to protect you must defeat your main enemy - yourself, be it fears, physical exertion, trials, pain, in order to be stronger then the enemy who came to destroy your country.

THE MILLION-DOLLAR QUESTION: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Have you lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain, or lusted (which Jesus said was adultery, Mt. 5:28)? If so, God sees you as a liar, thief, blasphemer, and adulterer at heart. If you die in your sins, you will end up in a terrible place called Hell. But there's good news. Though we broke God's Law, Jesus paid the fine by dying on the cross: "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (Jn. 3:16). Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds of eyewitnesses. He fulfilled all the prophecies of the promised Savior. Please, today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will forgive you and grant you the gift of eternal life (Eph. 2:8,9). What you should be looking for in a military recruitment ad is strength, pride in your country, how serious it is. The U.S army ad checks of non of this. Not once did I see a U.S flag, but I did see a gay pride flag. Is this the new official flag of the U.S? And a sorority girl with 2 lesbian moms doesn’t show any strength; however, it does show that this ad was used as a political front for the far left Democratic party. The fact that this was a cartoon and it started in a gay community in California shows that this is not serious, but its a joke and an insult to the U.S military

The problem with Communism is that it acknowledges something we in the West have to keep under wraps: that politics and economics are the same thing. The problem this presents for a Liberal society built on the consent of the governed is that most of us will never own enough voting stocks to actually actualize democratic self governance, to direct the policies of the fortune 500 companies that effectively run the West. We have to accept that despite being the most productive societies in human history we somehow can't support robust pensions, gold plated Cadillac health care for everyone, or safe neighborhoods, even though they specifically told us that we could have all that during the Cold War because we were so much more advanced than the old East Bloc. Hmm. The decisions that most impact our lives and social structures are made in the City of London, Brussels, or Wall St. by people whose actual constituents amount to legal fictions headquartered in offshore tax havens and who have the same attitude towards Western people that they do their sweatshop workers in the third world, which is maximum extraction with minimal investment, hence austerity once the threat of the old USSR and radical Western labor movements ended. The threat posed by Communism for the last 150+ years has never been human rights (as if the states aligned with the house of Saud, or who funded the rise of the Bin Laden, care about human rights, really), it's been in debunking the myth that it is possible for a private (economic) sphere to exist separate from the public (political) sphere, that to fulfil the promises of Jefferson requires the methods of Xi Jinping, so that maybe or children's children can actually achieve the the kind of civilization fit for free people.

Problems with Communism were only in the minds of capitalists who were afraid that the loot could be nationalized. I was born in the USSR, 30 years have passed since the collapse of the Union. I live in modern Russia, in which, despite the looting by the West in the 90s, there is still a very good social network. If not for the 2 World Wars in Europe (on which who earned? Right! States), then perhaps we would have been much stronger and would not have disintegrated, combining a social orientation with competitive production. As China is trying to do. In general, it is clear that Westerners are very rarely ready to try to understand the communist idea, confusing it with the state system in a particular country at a particular period. Read about Israeli kibbutzim. This is very close to how it was conceived. The USSR declared a movement towards communism, but in fact it was a socialist state, not a communist one.
