They should really get some steering wheel rigs when they play another racing game! Probably would be more entertaining and immersive.
DRS means drag reduction system where the rear flap of the rear wing opens and the car goes faster

Really enjoyed this video, didn't think I would. At the start I was like meh (as always its your banter that keeps me watching) but I really enjoyed it by the end. The game is really full on, like for F1 lovers, this must be amazing! Its so technical!
As an avid motorsports fan, the highlight for me was being able to say SHUT UP JEFF over voice recognition and he's just like "Ok copy that" lol

Smithy, if you want to get into an in depth racing game with plenty of mods, try Assetto Corsa with a wheel. The mods I recommend are crew chief, sidekick, and real head movement (if you're not going to use VR).

It might not be your kind of game but it IS a really good F1 simulator :) I think if Smiffy really tried he could become good at it but like others have said if you CAN get a wheel (Even a £200 TS500) you will see a huge improvement
To be fair they do all seem to say that early on in the vid, praising the attention to detail for the game and Smith even saying he could see himself really getting into it.
Definitely seems like a game for the F1 Ubernerds (I mean that affectionately), not my sort of game but probably great for its intended audience.
Smith needs to try a rally game next since that's where he seemed to excel here!

I always find it hard to watch CZcamsrs who play racing games, especially the CodeMasters F1 games such as this which are very in depth and realistic, and have no idea what the hell they are doing

I much prefer the racing in GTA. The mechanics might be a bit janky sometimes, but it's a lot more interesting than driving circles around a featureless track.
