Glad you and your boat are ok. It helps to see how easy things can go wrong. I’m a new boater and feel better the more information I get before I start practicing. Your honesty was hilarious. I could see myself making a similar mistake and laughed even more.
Stuff happens. It isn’t that big of a deal. You’re ok, boat is ok, that’s a win win situation. It’s part of figuring a new setup out. Mistakes are made and you learn from it. That little boat is scooting!!!!
You got lucky. It could of very easily have not been a dirt bank. Be careful. Nice boat, though! I have to check your other videos of the casting deck and trolling motor. Looks fun.
just a scratch itll buff out, motor came up out of the water lol, the trolling motors feeling got hurt a bit but minnkota is tough ^^ stay safe bud I think weve all come into shore a lil hot :P
I just put a Johnston 30hp on my 12' flat bottom jon boat. I tried it once this past father's day at the river. I was too scared to turn it up pass a 1/8 throttle
I miscalculated distance the boat so pose to come to stop after throttle down, then I panicked and shift into reverse but the motor was not locked down and just lifted up out of the water and did not help to stop.
I sure could use a good deal on a 15 horse like one of the ones in your videos. I'm on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi surrounded by water and I can't find a good motor for sale not for my price range anyway I just got a 14ft fiberglass Blazer Bay
Im wondering why so many people think 35 mph is so fast?? To me going fast on the water is like 65mph or faster........ But i guess the more i think about it i think 35mph on a lil 1436... Or a lil 12ft jon boat is probably feelin pretty dam fast. But then again them bass boats be doin 70+ mph and over all are only a few ft bigger then a 1436.....
Cant say I wouldnt LOL seeing someone driving full speed head first into a bank. Especially since your voice carries over the water and it sounds like u are talking to yourself {recording}
Glad your ok but I’ll have to admit I laughed my ass off at the sound of the gears grinding when you we’re throwing it into reverse. 😂
“Really agile” *proceeds to crash boat*

It happens, I usually drink beer on the boat if I crash I already have an excuse ready
Love your honesty! Hope you weren’t injured
Damn brakes are slippery when wet! Glad you ok, I’ve been there and done and it afterwards is always funny.
vodka and boats usually go well
Gives the boat some character .

My 1977 35 hp evinrude's throttle gets sticky on a hard turn. Almost had this happen to me once. Glad your ok my friend.

ok i now realize that my 12foot jon boat needs a 600% horsepower upgrade lmao
NJ Fishing mine has a 15hp and it’s aluminum. Rated for a 6 lol, runs around 28ish
Can you buy a tiller to console conversion kit cables? I want a center console for my tracker 1542 sportsman. Have a 2001 mercury 25hp 2 stroke tiller
man that rthing handles the offroad conditions quite well
Where did you find the center console? Awesome boat
I'm surprised how well the boat sat in the water with that thing
Hi is it legal to put a bigger motor than what the boat is rated for? I was going to put a bigger one on my 1436 but I did not know.
Im local to you, and wondered if you sell and trade these for a living?
Huh.... so dad is right and 15hp is plenty for a boat that size. Nice rig mate. I enjoyed your video.
Only question is, What was in the cup? Haha. Glad your alright
Where did u get the console from ?
I Was doing a victory lap in front of ramp after bass tournament, steering console came loose , always lifejacket and kill switch folks !
Stuff happens. Glad you’re ok. Not saying it was the extra hp that did it, but a Yamaha 30 on a 1436 is scootin.
Thank you.
did you make that trolling motor bracket ? nice rig.
Yes I did. Thank you.
any body who owns an outboard just cringed when they hear those gears grinding in that pretty old yamaha.
Iev done twice over 10 horse on small boat is too much power but fun is number 1 always
That was freakin hilarious 😂

That's huge for 12 ft. lol
What's in styrafoam cup!
I bet u could put a 14 or 15p on this little boat with that 30 and get up around 36 she'd be kinda scary at that speed lol
How much should I pay for a 89 2 stroke 9.9 Mercury that has not been used in at least 2 years?
If I was a fisherman and buying motor for myself and found good motor like the one you saying I would pay $1000 and if is really nice even $1200.
Thankyou!
what exactly happened? glad your okay!
I miscalculated distance the boat so pose to come to stop after throttle down, then I panicked and shift into reverse but the motor was not locked down and just lifted up out of the water and did not help to stop.
Ever need any parts for motors I have a ton

That's so funny. Remind me of dad hahaha
