City Folk! WD40 does not replace GREASE. Check Gearbox on cutter for Gear Lube. Grease Universal Joints if possible. Lower the 3PH arms fully and then you can lift them into place. When you park the cutter, put it up on 4x4's. Sharpen blades. 'Stock Cutters' - what they were originally called were made to Chop Corn Stalks after picking. Your Wheel is set too high. You don't need to cut at ground level as you will wear out the sides and somewhat inhibit discharge and not do as good a job. It isn't a Lawn! Do take time for a haircut and shave. Nice old Bolens. Get someone to plow the field now. Don't let implements sit on a flat tire or you will need a new one. The safety tube is missing on the PTO Shaft. Very Dangerous. It will wrap you up like a pretzel if it catches a pantleg or sleeve. Go across ditches on an angle if possible.
It gets the job done. Nice work.....
Thanks!
