As a Brit, I was properly angry at that American woman making "tea". How could she butcher such a good drink like that 🤦♂️
Improperly making tea is one of the quickest ways to offend any Brit 😂
@@KissMyFatAxe Indeed 😂
AMEN 🙏 From one brit to another
@@simonebye8789 🙏
I feel you so much!! We are given tea making information in the womb. That lady did another video doing “British Fish and Chips” and screwed that up too. Bloody horrifying 🥴🥴
That tea she was making was criminal
She did another video doing “fish n chips.” It was horrifying 🥴😭
When you pause to laugh , you need to go back a few seconds cause you would've missed something. Love thr video !
British tea has water and milk in (sometimes sugar) and obviously the tea bag.
Order of making tea is:
Tea bag in cup
Pour boiling water from kettle in cup
Wait a few minutes
Take out tea bag
Add milk (and a little bit of sugar if needed)
There are some savages here who do milk first, prob americans who forgot to leave
@@charg1nmalaz0r51 lmao 😂
@@charg1nmalaz0r51 you can add more milk to a tea that's too strong; cant take milk out of a tea too weak though ;). the amount of tea's i have been given that are complete and utter cups of sweet milk that have been made with milk last, are uncountable, and adding more tea bags to a cup of milk to make it stronger really isn't nice. i make mid/strong tea and put the milk first, always have, but my parents (relevant as they raised me) put the milk last. i've made tea's with milk first for people who would swear & die by milk last, and they f*cking love my tea. just shows it's a bunch of bollox rules that are followed as if it's a cardinal sin to do it any other way. everyone has a preference and routine of their own. this argument is like pineapples on pizza, or only drinking red wine when eating red meat, or i'll even go as far as making an argument that you put your shoes on wrong if you put your left shoe on first. see how ridiculous that sounds? its nothing more than a childish squabble over a set of made up rules. do things your way, what suits you and is easiest and most comfortable for you. f*ck following an opinion because it's popular. "everyone does it this way so i must too". thats the vibe that comes from people who argue about these pathetic things.
Thank god you specified leaving the bag in for a few minutes.
Putting the milk in first is one thing, but I refuse to abide people who don't let the teabag steep first.
@@charg1nmalaz0r51 I've never understood how you can do milk first?? I've never met anyone who does that but I have heard it. Are they putting milk on the tea bag and sugar or do they put that in after? It's sounds pure retarded
What surprised me somewhat is the lack of blackcurrants.
Like I get it's a seasonal fruit so it's harder to grow outside of Europe, but Ribena in the UK almost exclusive make blackcurrant flavour.
If you find any other fruit version, it's usually more expensive.
Blackcurrants were banned from export to the US, apparently they had some kind of mould or something that could infect native flora, so that's why they have grape jam and beverages instead.
Black currants were banned in America because of a fungus they attracted.
They're confusing Great Britain with South London.
The difference between biscuits & how a scone is very different to an American biscuit is funny. If someone asked if I wanted gravy on my biscuit I’d be sick. WHO MAKES TEA LIKE THAT! the U.S😂
That is not how you make a cuppa Tea, deplorable actions from that young lady .. tut tut!
Loving the uploads guys 👍🏼
Could not hear the lads
Talking too much . Could not hear what was going on
I genuinely used to read zzz as zed zed zed, I was always confused by it
Zee zee zee don’t make sense either😭 how does zee or zed represent sleeping🤣

@@jackdaniels4346 it's the sound of snoring :P
Remember the British say everything right cause it is our language so we get to say what’s right or wrong and reason why most Americans don’t have a kettle is that your power voltage is less then most country’s so it takes to long to use a kettle when the stove is quicker
You guys would love the UKs " Inbetweeners " comedy series. Toe curlingly funny
It’s 1:00 in the morning and I am wanting to go downstairs and make myself a cup of hot tea with milk, if nothing else that’s what that video makes me want to do.
6:10 Yes, the better question would have been _'would you put gravy on your scone;_
_'Hell no!!!'_
But we don't eat them dry either, we put jam and clotted cream on them... don't ask in what order!
If you guys are going to continually talk and cackle over the videos you react to, maybe you could at least rewind some bits to make sure you've heard what's been said.
I’m flying y’all to the UK.
Goodness gracious 😂
That ‘tea’ is aaaaaall wrong
The way she made that tea angered me. She couldn't of made that any worse if her life depended on it
That was not tea but watered-down tea-flavoured milk drink.
@@Bazroshan 😅😅 for real
You two crack me up always put a smile on my face ☺️
I wanna go to America just cos I want to try biscuits and gravy! Also, the "d'ya know what I mean" I think it's more of a southern English thing, my dad's from London and his side of the family say it ALL the time, does my head in after a bit 😂 I'm like "yes I know what you f***** mean!!"
Trust me it’s good lol the gravy we have isn’t the brown liquid kind y’all have😂😂
@@Michelle-rdz17 yeah it looks more like a creamy sauce than what we would class as gravy! I'd definately try it, I might have to find a good recipe online and attempt to try and make some myself!!
@@85stace85 good luck with that my friend!! I hope u like it :)
That is not how us English make tea.
Tea bag 1st into the cup then hot water, remove tea bag, milk is added after to how strong or weak the drinker likes it then sugar to taste.
Trust me in England putting milk in 1st can get you unfriended fast lol
And don't get me started on heating the water up in the microwave, pretty much no 1 does that in England, it's always hot water from a kettle.
Tea without milk is the reason Americans don't drink tea, its shit without milk and sugar.
british tea recipe
boil kettle
teabag
boiling water on tea bag
mix
milk
mix
teabag out
optional: sugar
done, that easy
the funniest thing is that americans make fun of us saying harry potter but harry potter was a british movie
u guys are too funny
..I stand corrected 😀
I was literally having palpitations watching those two American women making "tea" - and I don't even like tea - and I'M NOT EVEN BRITISH - sheesh got really hard to breathe - was shouting at computer THAT IS NOT HOW YOU MAKE TEA!!!!
I’m literally form the uk and I’m Britain😭
There are multiple uses for an electric kettle.
But we use mph.....🤔🤦🏻♂️😂😂💜
yess
It IS 'aitch' -- there's no 'h' in 'aitch'
It's definitely AITCH
No! That is NOT how we make tea! End of!!!
How we have tea here in the UK. NATO (milk, two)
That video of the Americans making tea irritates me so much. Nobody and I mean NOBODY in Britain makes their tea like that. Everyone knows it's
1. boil the water in the kettle
2. put the teabag in the mug
3. put the boiling water in the mug
4. let the teabag settle about 2-3 minutes
5. take the teabag out
6. add a small splash of milk
7. optionally, you can add sugar or other sweeteners
You need to swap 5 and 6 mate. Add the milk, squeeze the tea bag on the side of the mug as you take it out and then assess if any more milk is needed
@@dbasher9974 absolutely not
..these kids attend what we call "private school" in the UK...which costs in access of £10k per term and where rich parents send their children generally...these are NOT typical UK school students!!
Dont be snobby. They go to Fulham Boys School -- It's free. They're normal kids!!!
Shame you cut out their comments
from birmingham i can not stand tea it sucks i prefer coffee and mineral water , tea is disgusting no matter what brand it is i have tried them.
Probably never had it made correctly.
@@AafiaAhmad-cr8le i have i just do not like the taste of tea , i also tried the saucepan route .

I have to say, I love you guys, but I really have to concentrate to understand your American accents. 😢
That is NOT how to make tea
they never said it was :) that is just how that woman did it :P
