Rachel Kyriazis: How A Young Women Overcame Crippling Anxiety & Learned to Resist the Enemy's Lies

- This week’s guest is Rachel Kyriazis. Rachel lives in Pittsburg and currently works at a non-profit that works with at-risk youth. She met Jesus when she was young, but she began to really struggle with anxiety and hearing voices during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nothing seemed to help, so Rachel lived in a constant state of fear and anxiety. She got to such a low point that believed she was unforgivable and almost lost her faith.
When she found Freedom in Christ materials, she learned how to identify lies and silence the voice of the enemy. These voices still try to speak, but now Rachel knows her identity in Christ and can take authority over the lies. Your story sounds SO similar to mine; you even remind me so much of myself from your personality in the video! ☺️ I think it was meant to be that I came upon your testimony. I’m at the point where the “voices” have improved a lot, but I’m not completely free yet. But the Lord has been working in me to uproot the lies I’ve believed & replace them with the truth!! So much of what I’m struggling with is almost exactly what you described. It encourages me SO much to hear what God has done/is doing in your life & the freedom you have now. Praise God! I cant wait til im at that point too!
Thank you for your encouragement and sharing about your experience! I had not really ever heard of anyone going through a similar experience until I read the Bondage Breaker and was able to relate to some of the testimonies in there. It was really encouraging. Praying that “The God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” 1 Peter 5:10. That you would not grow weary as you fight the good fight but that the Lord would be your strength!
