Pacific Rim: The Video Game is a 2013 video game published and developed by Yuke's for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 based on the film Pacific Rim. It is a fighting game where players choose between the film's Jaegers and Kaiju.
In single-player mode, the player engages in several one-on-one melee battles to earn achievement points and upgrades for their characters. Jaegers have two health bars (as they require two pilots) while Kaiju have one.Each character has its own set of special attacks. For example, Gipsy Danger can fire its plasma cannon or use its chain swords, while Leatherback can disrupt a Jaeger's mobility by firing an electromagnetic pulse.
It is important to note that its only for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and is only downloadable.

Yeah, just saw the trailer for the new Mecha BREAK game. Thought that Pacific Rim could use an updated version that matches modern graphics and game engine as well.
Yeah this is very much needed. You could even go all out with a VR erosion where you get to fight Kaiju, using the motion controls to punch!

I remember playing this game a lot in the second grade and I would literally lose my mind every single time I played this part of the game. I just could never beat Slattern. Eventually I beat him and never touched this level ever again. Too much heartbreak. This battle was literally so unfair.

After 10 years or so, this game still holds up very well!
For those wondering, yes, Slattern is dlc. And he is overpowered. He has NO dodge move at all, but what he makes up for is a really nice and big special B/circle attack, pretty good range, and the Single Best 40% Energy Move In The Game! It has the range of nearly the entire Alaska map, instant knocks down if you're hit, and does the most damage of any 40% move in one burst hit unlike a good number of the rest. He might not even have a block last I recall, but it HAS been a stupid long time since I played.
