It literally frightened me to see what Corypheus would have done to the world, shouldn't the inquisition have stopped him.
Agreed. And is the best mission. They should have put it before the end of the game. Because of this mistake, the "Part 2" of the game feels epic no more...
*More precisely, before the mission in Elven woods and Mythal temple. That placement would be perfect.
If Solas is able to remove the veil, this will be the future.
@@benvolkmann9678 old reply but I don't think that's true. This reality is what the masigter crafted not solas, Solas said if there was no veil a place of magic and beauty a realm where imagination defines reality. And also why it was made like that remember it was by a fear demon released so in retrospect would be a realm of fear. When 4 comes out I hope their is 2 potential endings, one if your opposed to Solas and another if he succeeds to see in truth what really would happen, and all speculation aside.

It could be beautiful. Or a true nightmare if left without guidance by some god like Solas. Imagine every individual want something different. It would be true Chaos.
I will definitly try to see the world solas want to create. My Lavellan would be displeased if i do otherwise.^^

Perfect music for quite possibly the darkest moment in the entire game
I feel an overwhelming sense of dread and sorrow here. A hint of anger over what could have been but that is overshadowed by the feeling of loss here. As the drumbeat rises I realize I need to see what my grades are and if I should fail surely it will be a dark day for me. I will never beg from those cold tyrants called gods and I never will. But man am I tempted to.

This always gives me scorching summer vibes. Like being lost in the desert ruins of civilization. Even though the quest itself has a different setting.
This track one of the best in all game, and moment in game, with time travel - gorgeous. Also this track play after Dorian's loyalty mission, and this moment also - magnificent. I watched this video, and I remembered this beautiful moments. Thank you for that.
It only took Corypheus a year to do this much damage. Think about that.
My canon Inquisitor was scared to death after this Quest.
When I first played through it (like for the very first time) I was terrified. The sheer destruction, what happened to Cass and Varric and Leliana, the state of Redcliffe Castle and beyond that the world itself. Then the shattering feeling of seeing what ultimately happened to Felix, then seeing Cass and Varric die (their fucking mutual nod of "let's do this" killed me) and watching Leliana's heart get ripped out by the Demons.
That was true terror for me. I like to think my Inquisitor was similarly terrified.
This is easily one of my favorite pieces of music in the game. Thank you for putting this together!
Reminds me a lot of Games of Thrones, actually. Trevor Morris has also composed the soundtrack of Vikings.

I was wondering if you'd like to return to this game and record some more music for us? I feel like there is so much potential waiting to be tapped in DA:I, such as the love theme, the song that plays in the epilogue or in the Winter Palace. Just an idea.
I listen to this on repeat while playing DAI and other games. I really like this song; how the string instrument is played. Producer and instrumentalists did a great job.

Everyone see darkness in this mission... but for me... not... Because after playing the dlc Trespasser we know the fade and physical world make one centuries ago... Solas create the veil... Lot of knowlegdes are diseparing....
