Medal of Liberty and Fidelity Ceremony, Marlborough, June 14, 2024

The families of 11 Medal of Liberty recipients, and 3 Medal of Fidelity recipients gathered Friday evening at the Marlborough Public Library to receive their respective medal on behalf of a fallen Marlborough service member. These medals are given to the next of kin of those killed in action or died as a result of their injuries.
Mayor Christian joined State Representative Danielle Gregoire, Lt. Commander Matthew Sargent, Sandra Hughey, VSO Michael Hennessey, and members of the Marlborough Historical Society to present these medals and citations to the next of kin of these brave service members.
Mayor Christian would like to thank all who attended and all involved in organizing these honors and touching ceremony.
