This desk is amazing! I really recommend it,the storage has been a delight with or without the add on and the sturdyness and stiffness is the thing to look forward to the building however wasn't fun at all but a bit of focus could do it! The colours come in white,oak/wood and black each one being fab! It could get scars often but you could just paint over it the whiteboard on the add on is super quality. It takes up a lot of space to store a lot on the surface so it is AMAZING!

This is hands down, the best video I've seen on this desk. I have mine coming tomorrow (White, with Hutch) and based on this video, it seems my monitor is too big. I have the Dell S3220DGF, which is nearly 28 inches wide (2 inches too wide). With the said, I'm going to do my absolute best to make everything work. I'll put my Alienware R8 in the compartment under the desk, put the subwoofer on the floor, and try to put the two speakers on top of the hutch. It'll be a "fun" process. For sure. Hi! I'm guessing your desk has arrived by now and you've already set up your computer. Can you tell me how the performance is? Do you face any heating issues? Mine will be arriving by tomorrow and I'll primarily be using it for my computer, which is why I'm asking
@@jefecrx Everything works fine. It's everything I imagined, and even though my monitor is larger, it still fits without looking out of place. As far as heat, honestly my computer can get hot in the compartment designed to hold it since their is limited ventilation. Only when I mine crypto or game on it. For these occasions, I use a fan to cool it off ( facing the compartment). Other than that, you could test it out and if that doesn't work for you you can find another place to put your desktop Tower, and use the compartment for something else.
@@ElBlogiante Yes. No problem. I upgraded to an Alienware Ultrawide QD OLED, and it still fits just fine. It takes up space, not not bad at all. Totally worth it.

I want to get the mickie workstation for my set-up, since in my opinion it looks alot nicer and has more storage, however I am worried I will be limited to just 1 monitor, if I were to get a second monitor, would I be able to remove the add-on or not?

I'm 5'9 and the desk is confortable for me, one extra inch won't make any diffrence. You have to remember that the desk worktop is rather small. Depending what you're going to do and how much space you need for hand. It might be not confortable for watching the film as your face will be pretty close to the screen. Watch my video again, the new style 27" monitors are not much bigger than my 24" one. The monitor will definately fit but are you going to be comfortable?
Ngl AS MUCH AS I LOVE MY DESK its so tiny. I was thinking of adding a monitor next to my macbook but i dont think i can fit ant of those together but my toxic trait is telling me i could make it fit XD
Yep, it's quite a compact desk. Still big enough to fit a PC and other things, but slightly smaller than full sized desks. For me this size is ideal :)

I dismantled a few Ikea furniture myself so I know it's possible to do it without breaking anything, just reverse this process: czcams.com/video/2DDjZiJuEEg/video.html. You don't have to touch some things at all like drawers.

For some reason my drawers isn’t going in it’s the micke white 105 one a lot of people have had the same problem aswell

Yes, it is. I'm 5'9 (176cm). The height is only 1.5cm less than Ikea standard table
