Hi and welcome to my channel.
Repairing is kinder to the environment and easier on your wallet than constantly buying so I try to fix broken items around the house to reduce waste and save money. With a few good tips, basic tools and lots of patience there are very few things which are beyond repair.
I’m not a real DIY enthusiast - my hobbies are working with electronics and electrical devices. When a drill breaks down or a tap leaks they need immediate attention, but new shelves in the cupboard usually have to wait for their turn for a while! Here on my channel I'll show you how to mend broken items and also make some completely new things too.

Why would you attach a shelf that could hold that much weight to drywall? Someone is going to get hurt and at that hight it would most likely be a kid trying to climb.
Climbing on furniture is not a good idea. Small children should not be left unattended.

The LIDL W5 cleaning things are excellent. I bought some dishwasher tablets when being a bit poor. 40 tablets for £2 and work far better than any other tablets. I now make the effort to go all the way down there for cleaning products!

only issue I have with this video is that the radiator didn't even look like it needed to be touched up

Hey , I want to ask that what are you doing at 6:20 like why are you tightening the screws? And another thing is how did you verify that hinge is perfect at 6:15 ?
6:20 6:15 I adjust the hinges. I unscrew them to make them turn easier. I set it so that the cover lifts slightly but does not fall under its own weight. I am not sure that after my repair the hinges will be as glued as after purchasing a new laptop.
Great video! Thank you for showing how the drywall anchors work on the inside of the wall - super informative! Do you recommend avoiding the wall studs? I noticed the predrilled holes aren't at the right dimension for typical 16" O.C. studs.
I attached it to a brick wall. The drywall does not need to be attached to wall studs. This cabinet does not hang on the wall like a heavy TV. We only fix it to prevent it from falling over.
What about a plastic zipper that doesn’t bend back?

One extra advice, make sure the wardrobe is leveled, otherwise no matter what you do sometimes it wont look great

Before this i bought asus. Use for whole degree n master solid 6 years no issue at all. Then bought dell. Less than 1 year hinge problem. Now going 2nd year w delicate usage, hinge problem one side, replace cost me a lot. Now the other side hinge problems wth. I will never ever buy any dell product ever again. Will not recommend others to do so as well.
