This song was written by Komitas it's called Sareri Hovin Mernem. Komitas was a young teenage boy when he witness the genocide he was placed in a camp where he witness torture, killings and other brutalities. He lost his family in the genocide and witness their deaths. He was a survivor of the massacres and he began creating art with music. He's a well known famous composer to Armenians, he used his torment and pain to create one of the most beautiful works of art to have ever exist.
This is the translation of the lyrics. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have, this song was one of his masterpieces, he not only wrote songs but composed many other forms of music.
