Agreed! It easily does and at higher resolution with raytracing. However, it is a beautiful looking game if you like this type of strategy games.
Seems like the VRAM might be struggling though. How does this scale on other gpu?
Great question! It scales really well on other gpus. However, raytracing will make them struggle and so temper your expectations on that front. Otherwise, the game is really optimized well.
Do you see the visuals improving with raytracing on?
Great question. It kinda does. But you need to really see for it to figure out the differences.
And does raytracing consume a lot of resources in this game when compared to it being off?
Definitely. The RTX 4070 does run out of VRAM when running at 4K with ultra settings and raytracing ON. This is not the case when running at 4K with raytracing OFF & with ultra settings.

Our apologies. The captured and the edited videos look fine. The combination of HDR+ CZcams's compression algorithm did something funny there for some screen types. We will increase the brightness/greyness in the next video. Thanks for your feedback.
Bad CPU, RAM, SSD and you don't need platinum PSU for it. Gold is enough. Get at least 2x 32G 6000 Mhz RAM, Gen 5 SSD and at least some Ryzen 9 CPU. e.g 7900. If you want to play everything ultra and with ultra ray tracing, get at least 4070 Ti SUPER OC or better 4080,4090 or wait for 50 series. They did amazing production and optimization, though. Requirements for highest ultra settings are very high and if you do not have an insanely good gaming monitor or TV, whatever you do on 4k, it may not work well. And... if it is not at least 4k@120, it is not 4k. 60 HZ on 4K is very funny to me... Better play 1080p, but on good 1080 monitor. No need to freak out this setup with 4k. Use resolution scaling, DLSS and the AI FG FFS! Sharpen image - no more than 5. Also cap your FPS to double the refresh rate your monitor/TV can do, otherwise you WILL FEEL any drop severely. Vsync out of the question... DLSS quality - ultra performance. Turn ON HDR. Now we're talking... And looks like you need better CPU cooling and case + fans to equalize air intake and outflow. Chips above 60°C is a big NO for their lifespan.

We agree and also kinda disagree. You do not need the strongest of components to run Diablo 4 at 4K except the GPU. We think we can perfectly enjoy this game at 4K with 60 FPS given the nature of this title.
