Today we play McCoy-Oni alongside the new weapon 108 Bocce - and decide to right away go for the crazy type of runs, limiting it to only 1 weapon. 108 Bocce pretty much Garlic combined with flying balls, but way more powerful due to a unique interaction that gives a % damage boost to the weapon based on the difference between Luck and Curse, which is luckily - see what I did there - stats that get doubled by the Arcana Wicked Season.

also, he's a tanooki, a type of Japanese raccoon. they're known in folklore for having massive balls. seeing as the dlc is based on Japanese culture it checks out

The Gold Arcana is 100% broken with a high width weapon, like Garlic, because you continuously gather coin bags and reset your Fever. Plus, it heals you constantly for each gold you get. The HEALING is enough to get you to tank a Guardian.

info time: the character is a tanuki(dog raccoon? smth similar). Tanuki are known for their ability to transform, trickery and their giant balls(yes I mean their nuts).
also, since other people are saying his name translates to "deez nuts"... I think that's the theme of the character.

So I tried Bocce with Cosmo due to their infinite Luck Scaling.
Killing Atlantean Guardians in 10 seconds flat with only the Bocce (and a little help from the Auto Birds) feels GREAT.
Funny thing is how Dex always is trying to make new builds but in reality he is just switching items around his boogaloo of illusions favorite pick in every video :D
Honestly that's just how it is in this game lol. You find that one item or build and no matter how many times you try to do something new, you always levitate towards that specific build or item. For me, its the Garlic + Bible combo (plus Wand sometimes).

In order to do the ridiculous things, it usually does boil down to taking the giant area per level. That's just how the game works.
Yeah, this is the crazy weapon. With scaling Might on a Random, I've gotten the damage ticks over 100k at level 2000-something, which beat the prior record I'd had of 40k ticks on Victory Sword. Though I think Victory Sword probably attacks fast enough to yet win out.
Still, to rival Victory Sword and have a better early game than Santa Water... these balls are ridiculous.

This character has already became one of my favourites.
I feel like for a weapon like this, especially on this character, area is much less important than cool down reduction because there are not multiple projectiles that can overlap and deal double/triple/etc damage (like santa water). Silent old sanctuary is hugely effective on this weapon/character combo
i tried doing this and you just die to elites if you don't have silent old sanctuary as your second arcana
It's both really. I'm not sure which is the greediest best order to pick the arcanas up in.
Of course a Tanuki uses balls for a weapon xD

@Dex have you seen or played Bio-Prototype? It definitely needs more content, but the core weapon customization is pretty insane and fun.
the firework skill is fun spawns many pickups i like to combine it with victory swoard in mount moonspell and kill flowerfields for massive gooold.
It's very satisfying to have the vacuums and freezes work out so perfectly, you even got the damage bonus from the last revive.

Hey dude , been following you for a while now, i have a question ; i play it on mobile, right now farming 2b gold takes less time than buying 2b worth of EGG ( i think i've crippled my wrist and fingers of both my hands ) is there a way to buy in bulk?
I have 0 clue of mobile, I think best thing you can do is a super speedy auto clicker, but at those values that'll still take ages.

Hmm, this makes me want to test this weapon for Gold Farming along side Greatest Jubilee.
Every other weapon I've tried to add to my farming build and most Arcanas introduce so much lag they actually ruin a run not help it.
For reference I have around 1600 hrs now in VS and already have the ability to farm 10's of billions of Gold in a relatively short period of time, (roughly 24 hours of farming should net around 20 Billion+ Gold minimum). I don't mention my hours in game to say I'm some sort of expert, (I'm definitely not), but instead to kind of demonstrate just how much time I've put into testing in game and the amount of hours I've dedicated to this amazing game. Yes some of the hours have been from AFK farming but in total not that many considering a single overnight farm nets me enough Gold to be able to play around and test things for weeks.
My only worry with using Boogaloo of Illusions with this character is that he already has an Area Modifier built in and in the past there has been at least one character the Dev made sure that Boogaloo did not work with, Minnah's stat cycling cannot stack with Boogaloo of Illusions (XVIII) as one example. The Dev has already proven that he knows how absolutely busted that would be and has taken steps in the past to assure it just simply doesn't work. I'm definitely going to do some testing though as this weapon looks like a lot of fun and I can't wait to see the damage numbers on a character that has over 45k Curse...

I wish we could get more arcana or combine a few that we have.
You should check out Megalo Menya Moonspell, a total bonker character and she has a hidden 108 Bocce weapon which doesn't take any weapon slot and you can still take 108 Bocce from the pool.

There's not really much interesting content with Megalo Menya IMO... I mean you're just invincible so there's not much to do.

He wants to give all the weapons an even playing field when he tests them like this. Library is an easy place to level up quick, and keeps one variable equal between them all.
I've never considered Moongollow Endless as a stage, that could be neat.
When I play on Library I do it in videos where I want to have ridiculous values on weapons, which I want in solo limit break videos. The only exception to this is when I have to evolve weapons and waiting until 10 minutes is too long. Library has by miles the highest level potential out of any stages, so it's the best fit for it. It also has a couple of early farm waves, kinda wave 1 to (including) 5 and 8-9. That means you can already scale up Wicked Season super fast for the rest of the run. It's also the only stage I am aware of that has 30 XP mobs, they spawn at 28 minutes (spinach heads) and 29 minutes (all of them).

Bocce works like Soul Eater/Garlic, the balls are just for show. So Bracer wont speed it up.

Dex I'm pretty sure luck effects item drops, so actively nerfing your luck may have to do with your lack of NFTs and freezes earlier
He didn't nerf his Luck, you can see on the results screen that the Luck powerup is maxed (3). He wanted it to stay there so that his 108 Bocce would get stronger

If i remember correctly he even got more than 1trillion once. Lots of reapers, corridor and shroud... And the highest DPS ever Seen in VS(i suppose)

I tried it a couple of times but it doesnt work in good ways, issue being that enemies get so much curse they just run through bible (a single enemy is enough) and since they are faster than you, you are guaranteed to die and lose all revivals, until it's game over. It only takes 1 enemy or 1 boss to get through, which is kinda guaranteed to happen.
The only way I found around that was having freezes on the floor, but it only takes 1 moment of not having one and it's over. Meaning you can't take Wicked Season to do it
I dunno about anyone else, but as soon as I hear the "only x% of people watching these videos are subbed" It seals the fact that I'm not going to sub.
