Since I hate clickbait but short appealing titles are hard I combined the inverse tripling and wicked season doubling for the title number. While Wicked Season is not always active, the moment of doubled curse is what counts to survive.

Bruh, when i first played Vampire Survivors i did it on Xbox one (sadly my laptop had died recently back then). My game lagged and crashed constantly when there was too much crap going on at once. I dont know if it was before the engine upgrade or after. Im currently playing it on the phone and so far i have had no issues.
Something similar happened to me. I had Phierragi, with Silent Old Sancuary and Awake arcanas. Had bracer, candelabr, spinach, tiragisu, torona and skullomaniac. I was like god of the sun, there was like 20 rays (+/-), spinning crazy fast and really big. At 28 somehow single enemies lagged over and latched to me. Problem is, the Phierragi, the rays start just a little way from the character. Enough for you to NOT hit the enemy that's on you. So like everything was dying already on the edge of the screen, but still something lagged over and killed me...

This is probably your best video in my opinion. I've watched a lot of your videos and I usually have no idea what anything is or what it does (arcana card things? when did they even add that lol) and you properly explain some of it in this video. I dont think it hurts to explain why you do things and what they do, on that note, when you mention "when I did this last time I didnt quite know what I was doing" when you did what? a little bit more info really improves the watchability in my opinion. But I am one person and my opinion isnt the be all end all lol.

"When i did this last time" refers to solo limit breaking the Santa water. Which is the topic of the entire video. Also, i only started playing recently but the arcana cards are awesome. Its kinda like picking perks in other games. The modifiers can really make a build pop off.

Yesterday you asked why Bogaloo of Illusions was bad. Today shows why. The shrinking area is when it seemed that the enemies were able to get in to you. Also, since the area shrinks it allows the enemies to stutter step past the edge of your Santa Water pools and walk towards you. If the edge of the Santa Water remains unbroken, then it is much easier to stagger the enemies with damage.
I know what you mean, but I think you need to compare sacrifice vs payoff. Like if it shrinks down by -25%, so e.g. from 200% to 150%, but I gained 100% of that 200% from Boogaloo, then it's still 50% bigger compared to not having it. Only in the beginning for some time will it actually shrink below values compared to not having it and there it is annoying, but I think its worth the investement to have 29 minutes of a steadily growing weapon
@@DexTag I'm just saying, if you have to restart at 15 min several times... At what point does using BoI (esp that early) become more of a hinderance than a help? If you took BoI last, at least then you would know if that was what was having an effect on you dying or not and you could modify it. Rather than trying to make it seem like a question of if SoS was good enough or not. At the very least SoS wouldnt get you killed by reducing the size of the Santa Water.
Also, the -50 area from BoI would affect the damage of Santa Water, correct? Since it scales off of area and that -50 area from BoI is not insignificant.
@@ravencrovax You're forgetting the 1% gain in area per level - even with the area loss, your area will get ludicrous, especially if you level up quickly.

A bit late, but on the different damage from the same percent modifier: I think it calculates some of them differently, one just adds 150%, and one adds 100%, and then 50% of that total maybe.
So 100 + 150% = 250
100 + 100% = 200 and then
200 + 50% = 300
Or one is modifying base damage and one is calculated after other modifiers or something

Hey Dex. Overall, which solo weapon limit break is the best one?
This is a bit of a tough one and depends on what you are looking for.
For starters, evolutions have to go through, well, being evolved, which means they face limitations. Then there are many weapons that are insanely difficult early on, like Lightning Ring, but turn into one of the best killers in the end of the run. Tbh Santa Water being able to almost deal with Inverse Mode shows how insane it is. La Borra is more powerful, as in damage, but way smaller, so it takes longer to kill enemies
Do you find inverse difficult with a normal 6 weapon run or just when you do 1-weapon?
It depends on the weapons I choose, I think with 6 typical weapons it can be really hard depending on who you play and what weapons you chose, but the moment things like Shroud and Corridor and some other broken weapons are included it turns into a joke. It should also be noted that a lot of the difficulty in these runs comes from me going for super greedy things to get high stats, not taking Wicked Season and leveling less would be better when enemies outscale you

Hi! A newbie question, what are the indicator below the character health (changing) and the list with the crossed out items below the level up item selection? Thanks.
The indicators are from the Wicked season arcana. The icon refers to a stat which is doubled when that icon is showing. The crossed out items are banished, in this case it’s by using the unlockable seal powerup. Banished items will never show up when levelling up. You can also banish items mid run by using banishes.

I found a small bug, if u hit "revive" multiple times fast. It will give u more time of invincibilyty
32:40 part of your HEARTBURN is likely from keeping your chest & gut muscles tense while playing. I had a similar problem, but by trying to be aware of it - you can remind yourself to relax those muscles.
I managed to get my movement so high I could watch the enemies spawn

The problem with limit breaking godai shuffle is that you need to use four seasons as a single weapon until your able to evolve it

You either walk to them or you use an arcana that attract all items to you

@@brollyhue125 I'm a little late but they need to be unlocked first. Just play all the stages and follow where the green arrow points you to, you'll find stuff like randomazzo, the map and other stuff. To find the red items and rings that appear far away from spawn on all stages you need to survive 15 minutes on moongolow, reaching the end there will trigger an event that unlocks these items for you + some extra stuff
Now to do this without the damage numbers ? :D

@@ireallylovelunchtime one weapon- upgraded gati and you don’t have to move much, first few minutes to get lvl and upgrade, after that afk money farm

@@DexTag I will say, mimicking the Santa Water's circumstances of the default character, inverse mode, I ended up dead at 23:28 with almost the same kill count + level (250k kills, lv511).
So even that mysterious thing I'm hyping fell slightly short of Santa Water. The sheer quantity of hits from layers of Santa Water does offer quite a bit more protection. Well now I'm just disappointed, back to Random for me!

I am new to the game. Why didn't you evolve water? For the challenge? And is there a merit to restricting yourself to only 1 weapon (except challenge)?
There is a randomazzo card that boosts your stats by how few weapons you're using, so that'd be why you use only your starting weapon.
As for not evolving the santa water, probably just an added layer of challenge. No reason not to evolve your stuff ASAP except in a niche situation like using the Night Edge, since that one could kill you without alternative healing sources.

What I always find funny about people shitting on Santa Water and La Borra is that a lot of those people really like Lightning Ring/Thunder Loop. In the first half of the game or so, the two are relatively equal, though in my experience La Borra almost always does a bit more damage, but in the latter half of the game, Thunder Loop isn't actually all that great. There's still a lot of worse weapons but La Borra is still one of the better weapons in the game while Thunder Loop is average at best.

The bonus is based on how many weapons you have, not on the Xs

La Borra really is super broken. I have been taking a break from VS and playing Boneraiser minions. I have really been enjoying it as a change of pace. I recommend it. Instead of weapons you raise minions from the dead to fight for you. Good amount of classes and play style variation as well.

@@DexTag that doesn’t change the fact that you can farm them. In a week all of my character have over 10k eggs each and it’s not fun to play anymore haha. Waiting for mobile upgrade with DLC, if it ever comes :)
