*what are your thoughts on booster boxes?*
they are definitely a hit and miss recently. My first Evolving Skies for example just had 1 full art and 1 vmax. My second box however had a gold cressilia, alt espeon v and a couple of full arts
I think youre right, thet Sleeved packs seem to prove that they have better hit rate, probability is higher for randomness instead of the set percentage
They are either bad or good. My first 12 packs of darkness ablaze of my booster box had the charizard vmax. First Etb of shining fates had the shiny charizard vmax. And the 2nd pack of champions path I pulled the rainbow rare charizard vmax. Mattculi did you receive my email? I sent it to the right oneâŠmy name on the email will be different than my CZcams name.
2 Booster boxes in and I've had some pretty good pulls but nothing crazy yet. Third is on the way now đ€

It's like 15 years now since my last battle, things have changed so much since then... I had really great times playing with my brother and friends. Trading and playing I loved it

Booster boxes are the way to go most of the time a better chance to get a big hit as far as this set first two boosters got the skuntank alt first box and the lugia alt art second box.

Wouldnât the money saved with booster boxes allow you to buy more packs resulting in a higher chance of good hits? For example (with prices near me) silver tempest build and battle stadium box is typically 59.99, comes with 12 packs, or $5 per pack. Silver tempest Booster box is $99.99 comes with 36 packs, or roughly 2.78 per pack. So you could say itâs over double the cost per pack when buying the build and battle stadium boxes. You can obtain 16 more packs for the same money by buying booster boxes. Surely 16 whole extra packs would give you way better odds for better pulls? Idk seems a little odd to me

Iâm surprised of your experience with booster boxes. There is the very odd outlier but in 50 booster boxes of tempest maybe 2 have been a little lack lustre. But usually 14+ hits a box not including holos is what Iâve been seeing.
Although I do really rate stadiums in general!

I feel like these are a meme literally out of the 5 silver tempest build and battle stadiums I've gotten 4 (two regieleki v, reshiram v and rainbow mawile) of actual pulls the rest half pulls with full art trainer cards and the like. From two booster boxes I've gotten an alt art Lugia, VMAX Rayquaza, gold serperior, 2 rainbow Lugia v star, rainbow furisode girl, regidrago v alt art, a gold energy switch, unown v alt art, and gold v guard energy.

I've had insane luck with silver tempest. So far the booster bundles have been my best hit but I've had crazy luck in general. Only 150 packs in and got the Lugia alt, 2 Regidrago alt arts, Lugia vstar rainbow rare, full art Lugia v both Serena full arts, and a bunch more!

Build and battle stadiums are basically the equivalent of 3 build and battle boxes. I've always got the best pulls from the build and battle boxes and the tins, personally. Additionally, if you can't afford a stadium, you can always get just the kit. Plus I think the kits are released first?
Yeah the kits co e out first BUT you have to get them at events so harder to getâŠthese are sold at all store so always a good shout

they should of made radients more rare they are cooler than like 95% of the cards in the whole set but they made them too common so they are like 50 cent cards. be better if they did like 10-15 radiant cards that were pull rates like rainbow rares. they would be super sought after

i've got nothing but trash out of FIVE ETBS silver tempest and nothing out of sleeved boosters over 30.. i have two booster boxes coming my way.
I bought these for my nephew, he didn't get anything worthwhile and the litten didn't even get its evolution to inciroar. Did I get a defective box or what should I do if this was such a bad drop? No Lugia or Skunk pokemon cards.

Tbh rn Pokémon TCG is driven by greed. Ever since the pandemic boom they have lower hit rates which wouldn't be terrible if the values went up and held value. Look at it on a X, Y chart - *X = hit rates inverted* to [Y = held value in 3 year frame] on this graph it illustrates a downward path showing your chances of makimg.any profit is very very very short margined. If the Pokémon TCG company doesn't understand the market they don't need to take it upon themselves to go changing things. I'm disgusted with how poorly distributed the hits are rn aswell as them allowing companies who supply these big stores - ( wal mart wal greens etc) like MJ Holdings to repackage mystery packs that guarantee 1:10 chase packs that is literally 100% a lie. I have opened 183 boxes, not one chase pack. Greed Greed Greed
