  • ‎@theafricanjumbee4057 If you are planning on visiting Africa or moving to Africa, please know this. there is no welcome party waiting to greet you. please don't expect special treatment. we may love the idea that we are returning to our ancestral homeland but we are not looked upon by the authorities as sons and daughters returning home. don't come to Africa expecting to be treated special because of where we come from. #tanzania #businessopportunity #grenada #agriculture #canada #doingbusinessinafrica #exporting #beautifulafricanwoman #diasporainafrica

European people often have more resources then African diasporans. Let's not forget who colonized Africa. It's great that they can give charity and build things there - but they are coming from a place of privilege that many of us don't have. Someone told me they see more wytes than African Americans in their country South Africa - I said the wytes (Americans) have more money and wealth, and overall can travel especially far internationally more, so you'll see them more. It's a reality.

I am a Nigerian and yes you are right that there are no provisions or policies set up for Africans in diaspora returning home. We have bad old leaders who dont think about us within the country not to talk of anyone of our people in the diaspora. We need time my brother. We need time. We have too much issues and just us alone cant solve whats unfolding un our system. Atleast we can assure you a high quality of life back home. If you dont have access to electricity install your personal solar system, buy land, build a house or buy a house, buy land and plant what you eat to provide you with all your body needs to stay healthy and live long. Africa still remains home to all African Americans. Whether you come in with a visa or not, whether you felt welcomed or not. It really hurts when l hear they dont feel welcomed. This is your home giving to you by God himself and thats that. You dont need to be approved by any bloody soul or government. You skin colour is your passport and thats all

Someone dreaming of free land in Africa must be extremely naive. The natives tirelessly work hard to buy land.

There's an issue in Ghana currently between a local community and some diasporans who got free land. The tension is high that some of the diasporans armed themselves. The court halted the construction of all new homes, and if the local community wins the case, previously built homes could be demolished.

In Ghana who have the right of abode by an act of Parliament. 2001 Act of law. No need for DNA. Every African Diaspora has the right.

Unfortunately there's no policy in Africa for us specifically. We are categorized as a foreigner and are lumped together with every other group that comes to Africa

You guys should stop all these negative assumptions and feelings. We love you all because you are our blood no matter all that both sides have been through all through the centuries. Come to Africa and realise we are struggling to restore our economies, fighting corruption and these corrupt politicians. We are trying to put things in place and we can't do this alone. We don't lump people as one because we aren't racist. We need time to develop these aspects. It's difficult to move to other parts of the world without a Visa. You have to ask yourself the question, when you come to Africa what do you see? Its a place still in struggles so why so much complains? I believe when we educate ourselves and face the truth is better than these constant complains we get on youtube from Black Americans. But you sound purely African not black Amer9can so l wonder how you are making this video on behalf of our families in America. Let's think of how to work together and we also see to these complains. This will be a better approach rather.

There will be in time. Now that we are aware that this is really relevant, we shall do all it takes. This your home and the earlier we accept this truth, the better.

I said, "If you're lucky, you may find someone who will take you to their village and introduce you to the elders." You don't just show up at a village and expect to be welcomed. I also said. "Don't come to Africa thinking that their would be a welcome party waiting to receive you" I have spoken to many people who have been accepted into communities in Africa. I have seen many videos on CZcams of people being accepted in communities in Africa. From Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, the Gambia, and Senegal. Just to name a few. Your experience might have been different, I don't know.
