@@BobbyRamos86 yea I buy fun cars then drive for a few months then sale , but i got a clean title frs with 77k miles and 6 speed with zero problems for only $7k, saw the opportunity to flip but now I really think I'm just going to keep it , Absolutely understand what all the hype was about

Rwd even in the snow with the right tires is not an issue. This coming from a person living and driving one in Colorado.
That’s the only “con” about rwd, but man do I enjoy drifting in the snow ;)

The Coupé thing, YES, it's why I say the 86 badge ruined the car as much as the car ruined the 86 badge. It's a clear failure to understand why the 86 became a legend.
On it's own, sans the badge, it's a nice fun car. Heck, move the engine to a back behind the driver for a Mid engine layout and it'd be a perfect Gen3 MR2.
IMO, yes! Aside from all the car stuff I’ve gone to Costco and bought $200 worth or groceries and they all fit in the trunk. Yes the rear seats are useless but their for your insurance and you can remove them for weight reduction. The cup holder placement is fine for me and the seats (limited) really hug you and I’ve done road trips with no back issues. Gas is no issue for me unless I go on a road trip or a battle on the canyon, I just bring an extra jerry can.

If you can learn to drive manual than do that and buy the manual version! 👌 it’s deigned to be an engaging drivers car and getting a automatic would take a lot of that fun engagement away from it☺️

Is this a good first car for me? I want a fun car and I like the stick shift, it gets pretty snowy during the winter so would it do good with some snow tires?
I’m not really sure how a brz would do in the snow but if I had to guess not very good as it’s rwd, you’ll probably spin a lot. The wrx is awd tho is really similar and more powerful. And it’s been proven as a great car in all conditions
I know this comment is old, but yes it's good in the snow except if it gets too deep. Just need good winter tires and some driving skill.

I got mine from a Toyota dealership used for $13,900. I spent about $6,000 on it so far and it wasn't all for upgrades. Mainly for repair like the clutch needed to be replaced, I replaced the Prius tires for Firestone indy 500 summer tires, and my mom backed into it like 3 months in of my having it and I had to get the door replaced. In upgrades I just got a new exhaust and a new shift knob but it still needs a lot of work
