Nasboi has an emotional intelligence. I love how he wears his heart on his sleeve. Freely expressing his emotions with honesty. One can see the transparency from his expression of things. On the other hand, I like Eche’s reasoning too but I think she didn’t get enough chance to share her opinion. Here’s my two cents, I think Nedu wazobia should learn to give the guests more chance to share highlight on the topic via their opinion very important as we are all in the field of learning.
Nedu is the storyline and the salt of the show......his stories buttress the point to the reality and make people graps the concept of the topic.
@@gifty_couin oh I get it now
My Mother can die at any time.
Na you no fit die at any time?
This guy has some issues with his mother.
nedu talks too much, he always think he knows it all. even as part of the hosting team, he doesn't give guests chance to express fully. 😂😂😂😂 afficionado indeed
@@chuxochieze Na why Okon finish am flawlessly na 🤣
Nas is a national treasure. He should be protected at all cost.
whenever nedu just says "he get one gal/man" in his sentence, i day always pay 100% attention and begin to prepare to laugh 😆😄

Nasboi God no go kill your brain... True freedom is seeing that human, whomever they are , is flawed and can be wrong! Family must respect your choice and to transfer that respect to your person.
Nasboi I love how you speak the truth without fear or favour, and that's the reality, not even hiding ur emotions cos of pride.
I love how Nasboi is so real and vulnerable with his feelings...I enjoyed this episode
The way nasboi stood his ground and try not to deviate from the main topic is lovely sometimes. Nedu and his crew will use thier story to shift the main topic.
The fact that every thing down to language mix is nothing but EPIC🥰
I remember when my mother in law asked her first son not to marry me because of my tribe. (Meanwhile we are from the same state but different local government).
she chose a girl of his tribe for him(the girl was a medical doctor). Because she n the girls mother has been friends.
Meanwhile I got to discover why she had refused the son to marry me for one year was that there was a man who was supposed to marry her. The man had done her introduction and she was even pregnant for him, left her( not in the sense, but she jumped to conclusion).
But back then, there was no phone for means of communication. So the man as at then went abroad to better his life. So back here she thought the man broke her heart. When the man finally came back to marry her, she had gotten married on recommendations. She was fortunate that the new man accepted her with the child. So she said over her dead body will her children marry from my tribe.
But because she is not God, all her children ended up with the tribe she hated so much. And this has affected the way she is supposed to relate especially with her daughter in laws. #insidelife #realmatters
So most times our parents may want to punish us for their heart breaks. Most times the reasons are deeper than we can imagine.
PLEASE can you host Omah Lay, I believe it's time to hear his depression story. I feel low when I look at his recent pictures and hear his latest songs. He can be hosted to have a chat on mental health
😂😂😂
This is not a laughing matter, I thought I was the only one who noticed.
Omg! Whenever I listen to 'I'm a mess', I get super sad.
I really hope he's okay
😂😂😂 aswr that guys songs scares me he’s an epitome of depression God abeg make person no go hang himself
You see anybody Dey smoke for there?
I like the fact that Nedu is becoming conscious of what he says. That’s change. Kudos
My grandma didn't like the girl one of my uncle's was going to marry but he defied them anyway and married her, today she's the best daughter in law my grandma has we love her and her family very much
never knew nasboi can have good conversation like this .....I'm proud
This was a lovely episode and well discussed. I think Nasboi hit the nail on the head, we struggle to have emotionally mature conversations with our parents so it's easy for them to manipulate us and say don't marry from certain tribes or religions. Most people don't realize all these things further divides us as a country which is why Nigeria is sooo divided. We can barely get along as a people which shows in the politics of the country.
I think an interesting topic to be discussed is the rise of depression amongst Nigerian men.
Nasboi is so intelligent!!! Man is complete all round💯
What do you know about confirmation bais? He is not necessarily right. On this particular issue, It really depends on a lot of factors.
Intelligent but very naive
What has he said that makes him intelligent?
He said his mother has lived her life and can die at anytime. Does he know how many days he has left? Does he think he has his life in his hands?
Man has money and feels he is loaded with wisdom.
Yesh true sure
@@thetruthsayer8347 you that knows enlighten me please
I actually love this particular episode and would have loved to drop a token or two about this topic. I’m a Muslim married to a practicing Catholic and there aren’t any pressures of conversion from both sides. It was a long battle but we thank God for the eventual success.
I remember when my uncle, a father figure, said I couldn’t marry the girl that’s now my wife, I asked “Why?”, he flared up and got so angry, saying “how dare you question me?!” Lol
It’s an interesting topic.
Big ups guys!
One of the reasons why we kept some barbaric tradition is because we failed to ask question. African parents trained their kids not to ask question so they can manipulate. To me, most of our traditions is are due for a review.
Starting this podcast was the best idea 💡 ever. Through this podcast a lot of people will benefit intellectually and otherwise from it, and also a lot of vawulence.
Off course there will be lots of gbas gbos that’s why it’s called THE HONEST BUNCH🤷🏼♀️. Kudos 👍🏻 to the organizers and brains behind this podcast✊🏻
Nasboi killed it! He kept hitting the nail on the head. One thing I know our parents are not always right. After influencing their children's decision they end up with d very wrong partner and suffer the rest of their life.I feel when it comes to choosing a life partner your parents should only advice and not have an 💯 say becox no be them go stay with d wife or husband. It has happened to me and I know how painful it is.
I love how Echelon speaks, especially when she mixes Igbo in her sentences. 😍
What a person's mother/father does doesn't always come from a place of love. Let's stop saying this like it's true for everyone. It makes it easy for a lot of toxic parents to treat their children badly.
I agree with you, most times they are just controlling your life.
It's a generalized statement meaning most parents than not do it from a place of love.
Some do it from a place of selfishness.
I've never comment on this show before but i most say, this is a master class. really learn alot and big up to nasboi "fools go still become parents" you guys are inspiration mhen can't wait for the next episode
Not all parents are right
Buh what if you come marry the person and in the future the person misbehaves, who do u turn to?
Immediately I saw the new video, I couldn't hold back even if I wanted to. Somehow you guys have got me always watching every new podcast on your post 😩
I think Nasboi knows his mother and there is a reason for him saying that....He is 30 for crying out loud he knows what he wants in his life he is an adult of sound mind....I really like what he has said....we know toxic parents exist but people don't want to agree in this but anyway we are becoming an aware generation...
Nedu own no pass "wipe". As long as wipe dey the discussion, he go just dey happy anyhow 🤣🤣
😅😅😅
🤣🤣🤣
I love Echelon Mbadiwe...she's so beautiful and I love her movies. To add on to it, her view on the subject matter is the one that I totally agree with. When she said that if her boyfriend's mother does not like she will have to bounce. That is real talk. She understands marriage goes beyond two individuals living together.
It would be great if we all get married with the approval and support of our parents.
If they don’t approve, we must ask and find out why and what the issues are.
Those issues must be addressed if possible. Or else they must be persuaded to give their approval by explaining in detail why you want to marry the particular person only. You must have a sound case.
If they are not persuaded, then wait. Don’t challenge them right away or rebel.
Give them time to come around to your point of view. In nearly all cases they are well- intentioned.
If you are absolutely convinced you are right then you must be firm and refuse to consider any other alliances they might try for you. If necessary, wait for one or two years also. Some parents will resort to emotional black mail. They will plead poor health and warn of premature death if you rebel and marry against their wishes.
This is quite common. The answer is to say, you will not marry any one else and remain single all your life till they allow you to marry the person of your choice .
Most parents will yield after some months when they see that resistance is of no use. Usually, in most families, time solves the problem. How long will parents stay estranged from their own children. Nigerian parents have this weakness. They like to “own” their children even when the children have become adults. They like to dictate career choices, and marriage choices too and can’t get used to treating their grown up children as adults with a life of their own and with a mind of their own.💯
I didn’t finish reading your comments but you sounded so foolish
@@ilokandubuisi1088 ahswear to God, I didn't even read it
Let's be frank.
All the guys are always making reference to girls weh Dem don wipe but no girl can easily do such. That's the difference.
You're right.💯
Have always loved Nasboi but my love for him grew bigger after watching this… thumbs up correct dude, love ur mentality 😊
God bless you for this,it’s answers all the questions and issues going on in my family right now
This is one of the best set!!! Amazing video!
Interesting topics. Lovely and intelligent discussions too. Nasboi is so grounded and says it as it is without bias, prejudices or stereotypes. Wish the session was longer, even though it is clear that some of this topics can't be exhausted. Keep up the good work guys and God bless you all. A quick feedback albeit, sometimes everyone is talking at the same time and a lot of interruptions occur, so points aren't completely made. Husband material can be a moderator and this will help with time management a lot.
Omo I enjoyed every bit of this podcast.....forever honest bunch fan.
Nedu, husband material yay!! Lovely podcast. I always enjoy it from the UK
Am coming
Love you guys. For me my parents believe in my decisions and it's same with my siblings. Do what you think it's right for you and they will support you. Whenever they spot something odd, they would call your attention to it but the bulk of the decision still lies on you. I've enjoyed this over the years and it's working fine.
Love the podcast 🥂
Thank you so much guys for all you do. Please can you have a part 2 of this podcast where we get to hear what parents also think on this topical issue? I think we have demonized parents for far too long without knowing why they think the way they think. I'M NOT MARRIED BUT I BELIEVE NO PERSON OR GROUP OF PEOPLE HAVE THE MONOPOLY OF EVIL! Many thanks.
Watched from Nigeria but now Watching from UK and still anticipate every monday to your new videos. My count down dey start from 112mins
Thank You Nasboi❤❤ I'm Not Going To Say More Than Thank You, Na Me Know Watin My Eyes See... God Bless You
Loved this topic. Toun’s opinions really resonated with me the few times she spoke. Clearly an intelligent babe but I think she needs to be given more time to share her opinions. I’d really love to hear her speak more.
Toun says everything we’re thinking lol. Love her takes!
Well done guys👍 I'm beginning to get addicted to listening to your podcasts
A very interesting episode, everybody brought their A game to this one. Husband always capping legit. The whole crew did well. Love and light

Nasboi resonates me. Very smart dude
Good one today proud of this 👏👏👏♥️ my team favourite
Nasboy makes lots of sense, He is a very reasonable human being...big ups guys, where is BIg Nao ooooo!!!
I disagree with almost everything Naomi says but to continue watching this podcast without her is close to impossible. Welcome back.
Honestly....
It's really not the same
I don't know what might have happened but the show is not the same
@@alexiusuche3564 she is now in UK for educational purposes
Na lie. So far nedu is there, we're good.

Gee nti ooo 👂🏾! Your gist/story is never safe with Nedu! Lol
Nasboi, abeg no stop comedy o!. Your skit keeps me going. God continue to bless you.
I am honestly loving this topic ❤❤
it is well o. Nasboi i love the fact that you are honest. Getting to see as a guest outside comedy.
Nasboi is really intelligent and I have learnt a lot from him...
As for topics suggestions, you can discuss about sex education in the family, how our parents shy from it....
Good job you all are doing guys
This has to be my favorite episode of the honest bunch podcast.
Nasboi was really honest and straight to the point, emotionally intelligent and saying with confidence, a lot of things that people usually don’t admit. The major highlight was when he said some people would have stupid parents. I agree with some things Echelon said as well.
Husband material continues to be the reason I keep coming back, I love his analogy of Okafor’s law, say na Ronaldo comot for Man U, he still come back o😂😂.
I think that Nedu should give room for the guests to speak, he tries to overshadow them sometimes, he did that with Echelon today and then again, he’s always deviating.
Kudos to the honest bunch.
I absolutely loved watching this episode!!!!
Gosh I love this episode😂😂😂 Omo the way men think ehhhh
Am enjoying this😊😊❤️
Omo Nas boy you’re big on this topic, I love you already…😊
Nasboi is so on point....he's just speaking the truth as it is

Nasboi na intelligent guy ❤
I dey feel Nasboi anyday, anytime...
Good-looking out bro❤
HM the moderator🐐, i always enjoy watching you guys have these intellectual conversations. I know someone who's in a similar situation where the mum has advised her son to marry this lady he impregnated out of wedlock cos she firmly believes that any other lady he desires to marry would make his life miserable due to past experiences with other relations.
First video nasboi God bless your mentality it’s obvious you are a man of experience in higher damnation
New listener from Kenya. Still struggling with Pidgin but am here to stay. Damn! 'The podcast na be hot'
Ezinne is definitely a vibe.... I love her argument
The intro is always a highlight for me🤣. Husband material good work. The team is just good.
Please!!! If you are here to see @HusbandMaterial's intros then smash the like button!
Most times it's place of selfishness oh, because most parents especially mothers wouldn't want u to marry from another tribe so they wouldn't take u away from them, and also someone that will answer to them without saying her opinion.
Much love 😍
I enjoyed it
Watching from Togo 🇹🇬

I had a lady that I assisted through school and she went to see pastor and the lady told her that our marriage won't last more than 5years and boom everything changes. This was someone I dated almost 4years. The moment we broke up, i started seeing alot of this that could have broken us. But you know love blinds alot when you are in a relationship
