For the miniature bottles, I would recommend putting hot glue around the edges of the cork just before pushing it back in to the bottle. It's not fun if the top pops off and the stuff inside spills.
So nice!!
for the little pendants and bottle charms, it's best not to use water because the tiny corkscrew can absorb the water and it just wont look so nice. But if you really want that lava lamp look to it then it's best to but a coat of clear nail polish (:

Nice projects I love the barrel pencil holder I've got hundreds of pens/pencils and markers I could use a ton of these. Great idea and for the mini jar pendants would you happen to have the link to the store that you bought the bottles from?

It works better if you use a tomato paste or sauce can for the clothes pin one, it's also more durbale, we used some decorative wire too.
