I wouldn't say Jurassic was iconic as it was technically impressive for having the first best use of 3D textures in natural lighting. Before this Terminator 2 revolutionized 3D effects but did so using chrome. Jurassic stepped it up by using natural skin textures. Oh of course the film also had a gorgeous Laura Dern so that helped too.

My first time seeing it was when I was in high school. My entire class went to our school's auditorium and viewed it from start to finish. The scene that really stuck out to me was towards the end of the film, Schindler was looking at some of the lavish things he still had and realized he could've used those asstes to make his list bigger. "I could have saved more" he said and then broke down in tears. When he broke down, the people he saved all gathered around and hugged him. That shit truly hit me right in the heart. I was maybe 20 when this movie came out. It changed my life. I had grown up with racist family members and I had myself judged all Asian people based on a bad experience I had with one woman I worked for as a teenager. I felt shame and remorse for things I had thought and things I had said. I changed my ways and stopped judging an entire race based on one person. I started standing up instead of laughing along when family would make racist remarks or jokes. I'm far from perfect, and still have a lot to learn, but this movie was life changing. Every high school student should have to watch this movie.
One of the most important cinematic experiences I’ve ever watched seriously if you haven’t seen it or are of legal age to watch the darker scenes it’s important that this is never ever forgotten.
If here's anyone wondering to watch this movie or not, then Please, Please watch it, think no further and recommend to others all through your life. The most important movie ever made.
Tears wouldn't just stop falling down while watching... That goodbye scene where in Schindler breaks down wishing he could have traded in more lives, 10 people for that car and 1 person for that pin..."One more person" The value of a life... 😔😔 It's a horror just to think that over six million people were tortured and murdered... This movie is hearbreaking and beautiful at the same time, beautiful because it also tells a story about hope, love and faith in humanity. Not all people are are bad, there are always good people like Schindler who brings light to the darkness.
It says this was the 25th anniversary and that the video was posted 4 years ago, so I assume next year is the 30th and they will at least play it for a night or two. I missed Lawrence of Arabia but was able to catch it 5 years later.
I ended up seeing it five times in the theater. I’ve never seen an audience like that, before or since. Nobody moves when it’s over. It’s like the world suddenly goes in slow motion.
Hitler and Winston Churchill had the same attitude. Hitler killed 7 million Jews and Winston Churchill was responsible for 4.3 million Bengalis in India, but the world treats Hitler as a villain and Churchill as a hero. Please show some sympathy for asians and Africans.
Schindler's List will get you rolling and sobbing out of complete despair and helplessness after having to also endure the hardships and pain these people went through. Spielberg does his homework in all caps. He never leaves anything out for pure speculation and complete and utter nonsense to dwell on.
When i first saw the movie i couldn't sleep for days...to capture those horrific truths and make the world see what really happened there through an absolute master piece
This looks amazing, and I'm glad that it's getting the 4K treatment... but if we need it now more than ever, why the limited engagements? If Universal and Amblin want to get across how horrifying the Nazi regime was, then they should put this masterpiece in as many theaters as possible from coast to coast. Yes, there's Marwen, but that's a completely different tone and genre - and doesn't hit until the 21st anyways. To be honest, I'm suprised that it isn't in wide release. I mean, it's not like it bombed back in 1993 - far from it. It's not like it was panned - it swept the Oscars, and rightfully so. C'mon Comcast. Do right by this masterpiece and take her wide. It's the right thing to do.
I saw the comments to Welcome to Marwen, and boy were they toxic! You got Holocaust deniers, Nazi sympathizers, Jew haters, anti-feminists, and some people have been typing that this is an anti white film! That last one really bothers me. The main character is white.
Saurabh Arora If you hold him to this standard of a film, that’s moronic and impossible to live up to. LINCOLN is an absolute masterpiece and would be the greatest achievement for 99% of filmmakers. He’s grown and matured as a filmmaker. He directed the hell out of The Post and Bridge of Spies while examining the subtle nuances.
Robert Neal Bro I am not denying the man’s exceptional gift as a veteran storyteller. Like u said it would be Moronic. Lincoln was a masterpiece and all. Bridge of spies was good. The post exceptionally relevant. The new race car movie ( don’t really remember the name ) didn’t intrigue me personally. But saying that. None of them made me feel the same way as watching the first twenty minutes of Saving Private Ryan. Maybe Munich on some level (and no I’m not basing this feeling on the level of violence and shock factor which is a whole other story). Again I am absolutely not denying the man’s achievements. He is one the reasons I studied films.
CPD98 You don’t know shit about film if you truly think that. Roger Ebert, high level filmmakers, the academy, etc. all recognized it. If anybody else makes that movie, it wins best picture. Name a better political backroom drama than Lincoln that encapsulates a historic giants life, all while redefining the biopic drama. It’s poignantly written, meticulously directed, has some of the best acting I’ve ever seen, beautiful production and design elements, etc. God forbid if a movie doesn’t have CGI. Lincoln is his most mature film. The restraint he displayed was amazing for somebody with such big sensibilities.
The best movie I have ever seen. Not easy to watch but so important not forget. Human life is so precious. Differences don't matter. But makes us better. I will never forget the first time I saw the little angel in the red coat. I wept without restraint.

And btw, I’m done talking to Nazi trolls like you.
You can rot in your trailer park with your mom and your hate. Have fun with that. ^_____^
@@Lock2002ful " NAZI " is a Jew word. Germans never called themselves " Nazis ".
Konrad Heiden a German Jewish journalist is the one who coined the word Nazi.
Wake up! .Ignorance is not BLISS.
The catch phrases for this movie should be
" BEFORE THE MAN SAVED HIS DAUGHTER 3 TIMES ,HE SAVED 1200 JEWS "
I was maybe 20 when this movie came out. It changed my life. I had grown up with racist family members and I had myself judged all Asian people based on a bad experience I had with one woman I worked for as a teenager. I felt shame and remorse for things I had thought and things I had said. I changed my ways and stopped judging an entire race based on one person. I started standing up instead of laughing along when family would make racist remarks or jokes. I'm far from perfect, and still have a lot to learn, but this movie was life changing. Every high school student should have to watch this movie.
This is an absolute masterpiece, no film has ever been better.
it is amazing how Holocaust survivors murdered thousands of native Palestinians when UK brought them from Europe to occupy Arab land of Palestine
I don't think I've ever cried so much at the end of a movie.
Can’t believe it’s 25 years!! Love this movie 🎥
Arguably the most important Film ever made. Spielberg cut no corners when he made this. its iconic.
Can't stop crying after watching this movie. A great film 😍😍
CALLING THIS A MASTERPIECE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT
THE GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME
Best movie.. please release in India too
R u kidding me?
@@canyoushutup12 what's wrong
I'm sure you can watch it online, CZcams has it too
One of the most important cinematic experiences I’ve ever watched seriously if you haven’t seen it or are of legal age to watch the darker scenes it’s important that this is never ever forgotten.
If here's anyone wondering to watch this movie or not, then Please, Please watch it, think no further and recommend to others all through your life. The most important movie ever made.
Now they become once they hated
Just saw this film & it left a mark in my heart...Humanity should be the priority for every human being
"Whoever saves one life saves the world entire,"
This movie is something more than a film It’s pure history and revolutionary
Absolutely one of the greatest movies I've seen in my life and Steven Spielberg's best movie he's done. :)
This film stayed with me for weeks after I watched it. Everyone should see it.
Who is here after Prashant Dhawan sir's recommendation..👍
Tears wouldn't just stop falling down while watching... That goodbye scene where in Schindler breaks down wishing he could have traded in more lives, 10 people for that car and 1 person for that pin..."One more person" The value of a life... 😔😔 It's a horror just to think that over six million people were tortured and murdered...
This movie is hearbreaking and beautiful at the same time, beautiful because it also tells a story about hope, love and faith in humanity. Not all people are are bad, there are always good people like Schindler who brings light to the darkness.
it is amazing how Holocaust survivors murdered thousands of native Palestinians when UK brought them from Europe to occupy Arab land of Palestine
just this trailer makes me want to cry. Spielberg and Williams are perfect.
I hope this releases in india too...luv from india..spielberg..u legend
The most touching movie I've ever watched im my entire life. Can't remember how many times I've cried during and after viewing it.
I wonder why nobody cried when Britishers slaughtered 4.3 million Bengalis in India. There is absolutely no sympathy to the asians and Africans.
This movie should be re released ..everywhere in theatres .... it was a jaw dropping film
Well, I know what I'm doing December 7th now....
I was off by two days
I wish i could watch this movie in theatre. Would have been the best cinematic experience
It says this was the 25th anniversary and that the video was posted 4 years ago, so I assume next year is the 30th and they will at least play it for a night or two. I missed Lawrence of Arabia but was able to catch it 5 years later.
Standout performance by Ralph Fiennes.
I ended up seeing it five times in the theater. I’ve never seen an audience like that, before or since. Nobody moves when it’s over. It’s like the world suddenly goes in slow motion.
This has been my favorite movie ever since I watched it. A true masterpiece by S.Spielberg, and I'll definitely try to watch it if it makes to India.
Would love to see this in a movie theater again. Saw it with friends in college when it was released. We were totally speechless afterwards.
Lord of the rings, Shawshank redemption, Schındlers lıst, Pianist. My favorite
Hitler and Winston Churchill had the same attitude. Hitler killed 7 million Jews and Winston Churchill was responsible for 4.3 million Bengalis in India, but the world treats Hitler as a villain and Churchill as a hero. Please show some sympathy for asians and Africans.
Seen it on VHS tape when it first came out definitely seeing it in the theater
Watch the Dvd uncut, on some scenes they put writing on it to explain what is happening
I'm sobbing and cry a lot watch this movie especially when children brutally murdered 😭
Schindler's List will get you rolling and sobbing out of complete despair and helplessness after having to also endure the hardships and pain these people went through. Spielberg does his homework in all caps. He never leaves anything out for pure speculation and complete and utter nonsense to dwell on.
Who's chopping onions? : (
I love that it's in black and white
When i first saw the movie i couldn't sleep for days...to capture those horrific truths and make the world see what really happened there through an absolute master piece
Me and my family have always said its not a film you want to watch but one you have to educate yourselves on.
After this movie I got so much respect towards Liam as a Schindler 👌
One of the finest film I ever watched
My favourite movie forever and ever.
I love this
Back when Spielberg directed masterpieces.
CPD98 very true. I liked the post. Loved Munich. But ya. Sumthings missing in his recent ventures.
@@deltacos3187 Lincoln is not a masterpiece....
Make this movie mandatory for schools not crt...
The one film I consider to be perfect.
I'm more excited for this than any movie thats actually being released this year.
This movie made me cry the second time I saw it. Weird, yes?
The best movie I have ever seen. Not easy to watch but so important not forget. Human life is so precious. Differences don't matter. But makes us better. I will never forget the first time I saw the little angel in the red coat. I wept without restraint.
Who is here after Prashant Dhawan's recommendation? PD sir🙏🇮🇳
