Indeed wonderful. I consider D. Galou as THE Handel discovery of the year. Stunning virtuosity, and this always "in the service" of the composer/work. A dream!!
So was I the first time I heard her. If you haven't heard her live yet, you're in for a surprise. I went to Germany in 2010 to hear her sing Zenobia (Radamisto) and I realised that in addition to being breathtakingly agile, her voice also possesses the most magnificent masculine hues I've ever heard. If you ever get a chance to hear her sing live, you don't want to pass it by :o).

As to Goffredo, which was written for a female contralto (same as Ottone in Agrippina) and later sung by a castrato, and due to the fact that countertenors didn't exist at all in Italian baroque opera, I don't consider it historic correct (nor nice for the ears, but that's personal) to hear it NOT from the only nowadays possible choice out of these 2, which is a female contralto. That's why there's no ct aria on my channel. Sorry ;-)
