considering how many times bender went back in time, it wouldn't be surprising if Bender does cameo in Disechantment later on again
a trick : you can watch movies on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching a lot of movies these days.
@Samuel Jack yup, have been using flixzone for years myself :D
@Samuel Jack yea, I have been using flixzone for months myself :D
@Samuel Jack definitely, been watching on flixzone for since november myself :)
Bender meets Luci. Can you imagine?
insta-besties
I'm not sure which one is more evil. Na, just kidding, it's obviously Bender.
Hell yeah
Bender meet the king
@@carlgrimesftw6889 heh same person....
Disenchantment is the past.
The Simpsons is the present.
Futurama is the future.
The Simpsons is a TV show in the Futurama universe and Futurama is a TV show in the Simpsons universe. It has been said multiple times. The crossover episode can only be considered non-canon (especially when the comics did it better.)
And Life in Hell is the Beginning.
Did you know i was thinking the same thing
Ye i say that
Unless Disenchantment is set in the same time as Futurama or in the future
Still just a theory until we hear from Confirmo.
IKMNification he’s like returno....
Speak no more of Confirmo Speako!
IKMNification guys they confirmed this already.. both of the shows are in the Simpsons universe
Dagmar is mother because she is immortal and survived the two destructions of New New York. She then used her knowledge to gain rank among the people and become mother.
IKMNification not to mention how do you explain the inclusion of a fourth finger. On. The characters if they exist in the same universe.
“How dare you bring logic into this church?!”
Like the Pixar Universe Theory I think fans are just reading too much into meaningless Easter Eggs.
I DIED at this part 😂😂😂
@Apollyon Watch disenchantment
Goddam blasphemer
msminmichigan what's the point in meaningless easter eggs if you don't read to much into them
in the year 252525
The backwards time machine still won't have arrived
In all the world, there's only one technology
A rusty sword for practicing proctology
was my first thought
But I bet it is after bender destroys civilization, nice video
Same i feel like this is a nod to that episode entirely. Since in disenchantment thet reference some pop culture/ slang. And bean seemed to know what cancer is inplying a history of advanced medicine at SOME point
Dude in my head I'm singing this
Disenchantment was great, can't wait for the next season
Kotaco I agree
Kotaco futurama rehash by failed simpsons creators? Sad.
I agree, i want more. That was my only gripe with the show. There wasn't enough :( i enjoyed it allot.
Kotaco it was a whole lot of disappointment
I am.really hurt by all the negative reviews this is a series I want to run many seasons i dig it!!!
Pasturama?
מיכאל ברעם that sounds like some kind of dairy farm
Not sure what happened there
PastaRama
Disenchantment is probably set after futurama
Modernama?
I still think k the best Futurama reference has to be: "BITE MY SHINY METAL AXE!" 😂😂😂
"From the creator of the Simpsons..." without mentioning Futurama... way to go netflix.
It's understandable, but probably misguided. Keep in mind that this is the same service that after more than a decade still doesn't have a decent way to find content.
Lucy is benders carbon copy
agreed! I personally cannot watch the Simpsons anymore its so cringe and boring. Futurama is life and so emotional and the best ending to probably any show ever. Im digging the castle theme in the new show. Its really on par to futuramas character build.
Then again. Lucy said a Hot one eyed red hair right? Universe "A" vs. "1" when Farnsworth made the universe in a box. Lela had red hair in the other universe. Lol I gotta stop messaging on here. You're making me too involved lol
Didn't they decide on the mongooses as a team (universe) name?
Man Futurama fans really are the best fans
or fry and leela's daughter
What if it is the world is from Bender's game?
It could be one of the times they changed the past future, like killing the fish.
Welcome to Cornwood!
That's a fun take! It's almost entirely speculative with little evidence, but I like it
Awesome, love it.
So that means Bender is their God. Hehehe Not bad.
The elves kinda look like the ones from the cartoon Maggie watches in Simpsons
I was thinking that
That's the inspiration
It would actually be one hell of a crossover. I can imagine Fry talking about his One Eye Girlfriend while Princess Bean and her friends don't believe him and thinks he's crazy.
It for sure is if they full on show futurama chracters in this show lol references is one thing but that magic orb made it cannon that futurama characters visted that timeline.
Alex Morton in my headcannon the princess survives long enough to have her descendant become a blue collar worker in new new York
Bring futurama back netflix!!!!
I like Futurama but no, having a series drag will ruin the show. Just like walking dead for example. It's was a good show but then they are drag the show and I feel it's terrible now
You can watch it on Hulu :)
“Hi, I’m Elfo!” 👋🏽
"What's your name?"
I like 'em so much, this creature is so funny and lovely
I like this theory;
We’ll go thru ups and downs with show, see them grow into slightly better versions of themselves, have emotional storylines with them and end it in an equally emotional point
And then they all die by aliens
The end
I wanna see a fight between Zog and Lrrr.
Good job catching the pilot episode. First one I thought of.
But the fingers don’t add up
So that means it takes place 1 million years in the future from The Simpsons.
It absolutely is in the same Universe!
Cool Easter egg. In disenchantment: the electric princess, she opens a drawer in the airship with "assorted lengths of wire" which is similar to Farnsworth showing Fry where he keeps his "assorted lengths of wire" in the 1st episode of Futurama. There's also a "Farnsworth Boulevard" in the episode, and Sky Dunderson could possibly be a very early ancestor of Professor Farnsworth. Just some cool stuff I thought of. 🤷
i knew this was going to come up.... and i say, yes.. " in the year 252525".... i did not notice the time machine ... i miss futurama
Is it just me or does anyone else think that Luci is pretty much Prismo from adventure time.
Totally different energies. Prismo is mostly neutral but with some good in him and no evil at all and luci is neutral with mostly evil in him and only a tiny bit of good
"that show hasn't been on since 2013" too soon man :'( too soon
Hi I‘m Elfo!
The funniest part in that Futurama episode is professor killing Hitler then when they gotta go back to that moment again the professor says " slow down, I'll shoot Hitler thru the window" 🤣🤣
Maybe when they went through the Big Bang and went forwards becuase a big plot hole is that the culture was withheld until 3000 there was a similar military and even a swat team in one episode so I’d find it unlikely that they’d lose that sense of culture
But screw That I love futurama
When Luci talked about a memory of himself in part 2 he mentioned it happened in 2008. I was like wtf did I misheard????? That could be sumthin 🙄
I like to think Tess the giant is actually a space Amazon and all the other fantasy races are aliens or mutants.
I instantly assumed it was very likely to be the medieval setting shown in the time-lapse in episode 1 when I found out the creators of Futurama are making a medieval cartoon.
Yep a rewatch of Futurama episode 1 when fry gets stuck in the freezer shows you Bean's castle then it gets blown up by flying saucers...
You got chazzd
What a fucking character
@@roanoneill2260 so far my favorite
Did everyone forgot that Rick n Morty is also apart of the Futurama universe?
And that by certain fantheories, Gravity Falls and The Owl House are also connected to it through Rick & Morty
When Elfo was in the adventurer's room in Steamland, we see the head of a giraffe with a crown. So maybe disenchantment takes place after the year 1,000,000 1/2 because that was when humans were enslaved by giraffe.
Jake the Dog appeared on Futurama. Are you going to make a video asking if Adventure Time is in the same universe as Futurama
Yes
YES!!!! Please!!!!
Adventure time is post apocalyptic....
Leela and the genestalk good callback
I kinda hoping that Dream Land actually takes place in the same world as Cornwood that was created by Bender's Imagination combined with dark matter. Not exactly the same universe, but I guess in the same Futurama Multi-verse? Maybe Professor Farnsworth created a box that contains the universe of Dreamland/Cornwood.
Well considering I have spotted signs in the background on shops saying what time period Disenchantment is in, I can safely say that it is in the past. It being in the Futurama universe might be a possibility since Futurama is....the future. But that also could've just been a fun easter egg.
@@SilasVanBuren it can't be if the years are in the hundreds range
I think the king is a descendant of Fry and Leela which is why his hair is the same exact color and why the princess looks like leela with 2 eyes. Just my thought.
I think the existence of magic implies that it is set in the future. It was mentioned at one point in Futurama that scientists changed the speed of light, so maybe at some point they change the laws of physics so magic works, and then possibly change it back if Disenchantment is set between 2000 and 3000.
I didn't notice the Futurama reference. Thanks for pointing this out.
Fantastic show!!! And I never noticed the time ship. I'll have to pop the disc in and re-watch it. Again, but pay more attention. Lol.
I just finished the first season of disenchantment I can't wait for season 2
Elfo is my favorite too.
Bean is so much better and lucy too
Elfo kinda looks like bart
I love "Disenchantment" so far! Can't wait for Part 5 in nearly 3 weeks!
so the final episode of disenchantment will be bender destroying every thing
Can someone please tell me who sisseros voice also belongs to. Like what character has the same voice it's been driving me crazy
In Disenchantment, they don't have ostriches, so it isn't 252525.
Just Finished Part 1, It’s Entertaining
Finally a video on disenchantment that's not aggressive, passive or otherwise
you also see The Planet Express ship in ep 1 im pretty sure when they are running from the prince
Don't forget Futurama once came together in the crossover "Simpsorama". And the Simpsons once got a visit by the Griffins from Family Guy. But don't forget Stewie and Brian once broke into the CIA encountering Stan Smith from Amercian Dad.
I know I might have still missed a few crossovers but that means that bascily all of these Serieses are connected into one big Multiverse!
When Simpsons and Family Guy had their crossover, there was a nod to Bob's Burgers as "contractual obligations"
Makes sense to me, but I’m opting for it being in the future and the “magical” creatures we see are merely descendants of aliens and such.
My theory is when fry is frozen in futurama there's a point where the world gets destroyed by aliens then after it's destroyed castles get built so my theory is it's set one between Simpsons and futurama
This would mean that they also share a universe with The Simpsons. As we know from the Simpsons episode "Future-Drama", scientists will have invented magic by 2013, so that can explain everything supernatural in Disenchanted.
This knowledge might have been lost with the fall of it's civilisation (5:07).
Nibler makes a cameo in the first or second episode as one of the castle guards in the background
In the last Disenchantment episode the the thumb nail for the episode is bean acting like fry shocked
I thought the same thing about the first episode of Futurama seeing the buildings getting re-built. Maybe the Elves an other things are actually extraterrestrials but they don't know it because of their "magical gift" or powers to say an by the time 3000 they were extincted
Futurama has at least four medieval periods in its timeline
-The actual medieval period
-What we see in the 1000 years Fry's on ice
-In the year 252525
-In the year 1 million and a half
Humankind is enslaved by giraffe!
Disenchantment takes place before Zoidberg's race visits Earth as Elfo eats anchovies in part 3, setting the series between 2012-3000
Am I the only one who noticed in one of the episodes a second hand character (can't remember his name) from Futurama can be seen? I'll have to rewatch the season to give you the exact episode but I know it's early on in the season, episode 3 or 4 I think.
King Zog ate that live carrot in season one. In futurama there are references to a time when the world was ruled by carrots, while fry was frozen
The cryonic woman and loves labours lost in space from futurama in connection with for whom the pig oinks from disenchantment.
What about the second episode of season one. The song being played as bean walks up to the church sounds incredibly similar to the background song we hear in Futurama. I personally think they are tipping their hats so to speak to the older show, and as stated before a lot of people that worked on Futurama are working on Disenchantment. I feel like they are having a bit of fun and it's working ^_^
One thing is for certain. The castle is at about the exact location as the planet Express. Because it was a time machine..not a space machine. It never left its exact spot lol.
I just noticed that in the episode in futurama where they travel forwards in time, to where they got backwards in time, in the 1500s, there is no castle like this... 0:46
1:21 I Stand corrected.
Elfo's mother is Fry's great great grandmother. Fry is also the father.
Let’s not forget there was an episode of the Simpson’s where Futurama visited
When Nibbler was revealed to have been a shadow and the reason that Fry went back in time, I have had it in my head that Disenchantment will follow similar story hidden elements.
Theory: Elfo is from "The Happy Little Elves" from The Simpsons.
And since Futurama and Simpsons are the same universe...
Now I want a crossover SO FUCKING BAD.
IT MIGHT EVEN BE ABLE TO BRING FUTURAMA BACK YET AGAIN!
As we see medieval styles pop up at various future points this could just be one we didn't directly see. But it would make sense to have all the creatures be descended from mutants and aliens . Wouldn't be the first time a fantasy series was actually set in the far future.
It's entirely likely that your thought is right, and that they are within the same universe. However, I instead say that Disenchantment is the bridge that connects Futurama and Adventure Time.
I loved Disenchantment. I do agree though. Tying into Futurama isn't going to benefit Disenchantment much. I very much just think these were Easter eggs.
Someone call Rick........We're gonna need his Portal Gun
Yeah... In that episode they talk about Bean's mom and (spoilers) they revealed that she's evil and for a long time I thought that she looked a bit like Mom from Futurama. The fact that she's evil, that she (at least in Mexico, I know that the voice actress of Mom does Queen Oona voice in there. But I like to think that Groening is smart enough for him to not make it that obvious) has the same voice actress that Mom has, the fact that she may be immortal because of the elixir, and the fact that this reference makes an appearance in this exact episode are to coincidental.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
BUT THAT'S JUST A THEORY!
That's probably a coincidence, they reuse a lot of design work whenever Matt Groening does something new. Just look at how much of the designwork from Futurama was ripped off of The Simpsons and Disenchanted rips off from both previous series. Elfo looks rather suspiciously similar to Bart and King Zog, reminds me a lot of either that bus driver or that lazy warehouse guy that keeps showing up. Not to mention the various other people that have a resemblance to previous characters.
Probably the worst thing about the show was all the energy I spent looking at things like that rather than just enjoying the show.
I bet the show takes place in that time when the castle is built and then distorted by flying saucers in that 1000 year montage in the first episode of futurama.
Oh that’s your theory too!
maybe the whole show is just a dream within the world of Futurama. Or maybe it's a virtual game where the main characters from Futurama become the characters of Disenchantment. Maybe they had to put on wigs or get disguised to solve a problem and get back to their reality. Wow, so many possibilities, entertaining
They’re kind of in the same universe. It’s probably that imaginary land that bender made when he was playing D&D. :)
I’m still wondering what happened to Luci.
okay they do these easter eggs more often but this easter egg is just oddly specific
Damn, that was interesting!! Well done!
in the first trailer of disentchantment was saying thats disentchantment was playing before the simpsons and futurama, but i hope for a futurma cameo in disentchantment
i think all Matt Groenings shows are set one after the other I.e. the Simpsons then futurama with disenchantement coming third in a chronological order, a strong case is Fry's hair in an episode (why would his hair be their if he is frozen) so maybe we didn't see Dreamland in futurama because Matt didn't know he would do such a show and thus didn't put a Easter egg inn
"It's like ham.. But, it's not ham"
😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Bender fry and professor farnsworth are in a time machine at 1:29
You know Tess said something about the 80’s about giant rampaging but bean said they invented parties like 7 years ago and how old are parties
Who was to see a disenchantment and Futurama crossover
I hope so. Maybe we'll get a Futurama fusion episode or maybe season!!
Well, considering that they jumped around pretty pretty far during their travel, it seems to be a common system that when society collapses, for a short while, medieval feudal systems are created in the gaps.
So it might not be those examples Futurama gives us, it might be any number of medieval civilizations that pop up in between advanced societies.
I feel like this is simpsons humor on steroids, not in the good way. Futurama seasons 1-5 is still better
Disenchantment characters have 5 fingers while futurama characters only have 4. I believe that this means that if they are in the same universe some type of rapid mutation had to occurred between the year 2000 and 3000.
This is exactly the same theory I had! The fact that a neighbouring "steam punk" community in later episodes of disenchantment makes this more concrete, as not all of society would have been destroyed, and could rebuild using science.
Make a video on the whole universe of this with Family guy, american dad, the simpsons, ect
Found something to support that disenchantment is in the future of a world where futurama and the Simpson exist in the same universe. In Simpson’s scienctist said in 1million years man would develop another finger.... someone go count beans hand
1st episode where the cultists watch Luci and bean to try and possess her, one wears square framed spectacles.
Clearly that is a giveaway of a dodgy timeframe
5:20 Futurama is playing in the backround and I saw Leela on it as this was being said.
good vid Nerdist.
One thing I did notice if you look at one of the knights helmets it looks like Benders head
Doesn't that mean that the Simpson are also part of that universe
Could be another region of Cornwood?
