Rescue 50 responding on the working fire assignment to assist Lancaster City Bureau of Fire with a house fire with entrapment. City Crews rescued several people from the second floor prior to anyone else's arrival. The Rescue crew went to manpower staging before being released. Willow Street Fire Company. Taken 2/11/24

A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.

What's the flashing light on the traffic signals? Is that something responding to the fire engine?

detects for emergency vehicles and changes the light to the green if it is red or otherwise

@@jayasmrmore3687 yeah but instead of having to stop and clear the intersection, they can just go right though and save time. plus, it’s less riskier cause if they have to clear the intersection while red, there’s a chance a car might run it.

Why so many intersections have “no turn on red” signs? It’s two one way streets so I don’t see the issue with turning on red if you stop first.
