im a hour from douglas 2 hrs from sorry vista and 3 hrs from tucson. i go once a month to tucson and do a large run of monthly supplies. wifes got a beetle so i grade the road to get that out once a month for gas saving. 25 bucks for hers versus 160 bucks for my truck

just remember.....stuff will go wrong and may seem you will get 5 steps ahead then sumthin breaks and u go back 2 steps. seen ALOTTA folks come out and try this life and leave after a year. find a way to blow off steam or u will go crazy lol. it took me 3 years to finally get all the shipping companies know where i am with a new address. usps was the fastest to figure this out...fyi
please get a truck (4wheel drive min) and at least 1 ibc tote to haul water. most folks dont realize water is life and delivery fees down here suk. it may not rain much but its usually july august and dec january. neighbor has a awd suv thing and he continuously is breaking it to get to work during rainy season. works hard to find also. neighbors land is up for sale now...
Yep! IBC totes are on our list next. The truck will be a later thing, but we know one is needed to save wear & tear on our current vehicle. All good suggestions!
