As a pianist I can appreciate the control of your playing. It's unbelievable, every note comes out just the way you want it. Beautiful job.

Not true. Melody at the beginning of verse 2, as heard in the unplugged version.

Trent Reznor and Maynard James Keenan are to me the best minds behind music I have seen both live in concert and I love them both but this song has always held a special place in my heart same with the song Judith from a perfect circle and my dear you play this so well I wish I could buy it off of iTunes I would listen to it all the time on repeat I need a piano cover like this on my phone it's the best one out there. Wikipedia says :

This is difficult song to do I bet not much room to move within it. Many of the covers on your channel is you making the song something pretty different, something awesome. This is "just" you playing Hurt.
..Not that I mind, Hurt is an awesome song.

Although I am a NIN fan, I have to say the Johnny Cash version is far superior imo. It just has so much more emotional resonance coming from him.
@darkfire420 your absolutely right, Mr Cash's version had a feel to it that NIN didnt have. Of course the video with old family photos and video set the mood. It was very powerful for a cover and so is this.

Best piano cover I ever heard
I feel you. Been living all of my 18 years here, unable to get any kind of tutoring when it comes to playing piano.
But that doesn't matter. With strong will and excellent videos in YT, I have been able to learn some of the songs i've always wanted to play. Though i still struggle with reading sheets, I am able to learn new songs at somewhat acceptable speed.
And if I can do it, I'm sure you can handle it too just fine. All it takes is some time and practice. Hardest part is beginning it. :)

Do what I did -- see a piano tutorial and just do it. I have never taken any piano lessons in my life and I can do this. All you need is determination to do it! Good luck.
Most people give up too soon on most things they try. But, with instruments, it's isually possible to get into them at any point in life.

Mike Kucher it's about heroine addiction and it's tolls it's also fits into a story about a man who slowing goes down a downward spiral hence the downward spiral
in this story that song is his suicide letter

You buy it, then you find out that to play remotely decently, you need to spend 1-3 hours per day, repeating the same patterns, again and again, developing your fingers, your sense of rythm. For month, for years. At some point you start to doubt the whole thing, but you invested that much time into it you are now can't make yourself just dump it. And only hope remains, that one day, many years later, may be, something good will come from it..
