Politicians like him will continue to mislead common people. Take Jammu and Kashmir for example - a state with a disputed history. You will find very grounded muslims over there. They are engaged in jobs and are able to earn a living because they have been provided full security by the Indian army. Compare it with neighbours China- a country with a history of disputes but a thriving progressive economy where there is no room for radicalisation of religious beliefs, no room for radicalized actions. There is only room in detention camps.
Diversity in laws cannot be the answer to a country's progress and development because it is a means to exploit the civil framework and disrupt the normalcy of life. India has learnt its lessons.

In Bangladesh Civil personal Laws are different for Muslims and Hindus and there is no problem in implementing those laws. In India formulation of UCC is merely a election slogan of BJP to create unrest among the Indian Muslims, Christians, SC, ST, and other tribes. This is a hollow slogan of BJP . They know UCC is impracticable law and hence they don’t produce the Draft of so-called UCC as yet. May good sense prevail !
