I don’t think the world appreciates or understands just what Leverkusen are doing here this season… if they win the next two games and the treble, unbeaten… this has to be the greatest season in club football ever??? And this is Bayer Leverkusen we’re talking about, not Man City, Real Madrid or some other team with elite resources… they had never won the Bundesliga until now! Truly unbelievable to be honest… astonishing… and I hope it’s celebrated as it should be…

@davidsurur7119 literally no one said Leverkusen is "better" then Real Madrid.
It is recognised and celebrated...especially as they haven't been backed with endless funds...Alonso achieves this in under 2 season. The only perceived taint on the accomplishment is not having competed in the Champions League.
Let’s not exaggerate. They are owned by one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Yes, what they have achieved is phenomenal. But they are not a small or poor club. They are probably Germany’s richest club in terms of money. They have all the resources they need
