I love how down to earth you are at all times Chris but I truly have to disagree on the idea that "anybody can do this". Because "anybody" doesn't have the same passion, drive, knowledge and delivery of knowledge as you, as far as sneakers are concerned. It's called "being a master at storytelling" and you excel at that and that's what I am a fan of.

I agree the heel is to soft in the protro V. It needs the zoom back there. The proto VI isnt as bad in the heel. Its more firm and doesn’t sink in so much.

Your channel fuh king ROCKS! Been a fan for a min but I always watch on my tv and it doesn’t have an option to comment. Great pick up man! Took an L on these like most releases nowadays. I do have an og pair but my air insoles are blown out and they are tore the F-up from rocking them since day one. I actually wear them for sparring now. Completely agree, I find my shoes need to more firm as I get older. I put an insole in my protros and that seems to help with the heel drop. Boost seems to aggravate my Achilles after a while, even if it does save my knees

I'm not crazy about the change in foam on the midsole of the 5 and 6 protro. The originals had that dual density phylon that worked so well. And there should be a heel zoom unit in my opinion.

I'm stuck between getting the alternates and the bruce Lee's, in your opinion,which one looks better in person? I was kinda feeling the white ones but sometimes they look iffy to me
It's really weird, isn't it? I too, being older, find that the more the cushy the cushion, the more my knees hurt. Had to get rid of a full mid-sole Boost shoe a while ago since I couldn't even walk around in them for an hour. I too, have gravitated to newer shoes that either have Bounce if adidas (or Bounce-like), or a firmer set-up cushioning. Btw, I can walk around in my retro New Balances (old school foam, ie, DEAD cushioning) ALL day with no joint complaints even though I have clinically BAD knees...
Good luck on that size swap. Thats rare now a days because certain sizes are worth more than others. I miss those size swap days. But these are awesome man. These and the grinches bring me back to the best days of nike basketball.

I dont particularly care for the alternate bruce lee 5's.... Maybe if they flip flopped the original bruce lee colorway but just keeping all that white out. Basically, a reversed up color scheme on the bruce Lee's would've been cooler than all that white on the alternates which are a pass for me
Same thing happens with me the back of my foot feels weird when I wear these too long. And ultra boost for being a running shoe I cannot wear them more than 30 minutes. I still absolutely love them tho

Hey Nightwing! Idk if you know the shoe retail Sole Supremacy, but I had contacted them a while back when I had bought a pair of Kobe V Chaos but they were a size too small, and asked if I could trade mine in for a size up. Depending on the condition of the shoe they might ask you to pay a little, but for my shoes they were brand new and they did an even trade. I had to pay for shipping, but I felt like it was worth it to get one of my grails! Hope this helps!
