I've been watching you guys since the very beginning, and I think it would be so cool to see a little video compilation of each of the 3 kids in the front seat while mom drives, from way back then until now. Seeing you and Katie in the car in this vlog reminded me of all those times you chatted while going to and from gymnastics! It's crazy how quickly kids grow up.
As a mom of a son who is now 36 we still make time to talk and spend time together. Loved seeing you with your precious son spending time together. Jill my daughter Katie also does the same thing when she calls.😂

Oof, gotta be a little hectic moving everyone in, getting stuff in and out of the car, cleaning. Glad it went smoothly. Had to laugh when Jill wanted to show us something off the camera while she was driving! She looked so excited! Thank the Lord, Katie yelled out Nooo! 😂

Brennan and Katie all grown up, moving into their apartments. Where has the time gone?! Just saw the last vlog, and I sure hope Katie's water situation has gotten straightened out. Thank you Barb!! Yes- water is fixed, kids are happily moved in and FSU won the football game on Sunday. Life is good 😂 I’m getting ready to go to training now too!

Highly recommend the book “Rush” by Lisa Patton. She’s from Bama but bases it in Mississippi, which has a similar Greek life culture. It is unfortunate that Greek life is not universally good for mental health. It’s great that Katie is having a positive experience

Great question: they were still doing maintenance work and the leases from last year were still in effect, so they didn’t open for move in until like two days after we were there 😖

Bana rush has an entire documentary they made last year. A bunch of girls rush then drop out after seeing what it's like. Bama is intense and not what a sorority should be. Imo

I love your videos and have been following you for a few years now. I was so disappointed by your comments about the Bama rush. My daughter rushed ZETA and made some lifetime friends. She never felt like it was about who had more money.
It is so nice to hear that! The #RushTok craze had girls sharing drama, expensive outfits of the day, lavish jewelry and over the top rush gift on social media. However as with most things in the media, the outrageous was pushed to the forefront. My commentary was intended to be about how #Rushtok made rush sound very superficial and that wasn’t Katie’s experience at all. And I’m sure it wasn’t the majority of the girls’ experience at Alabama either, it was just what got talked about in social media. I believe that Sorority is so beneficial for so many young women!!
