It's so awesome that DRS was not there. Steve was wrong and he knew it. Sachin as he always does; outplayed his career, he outplayed players who started playing because of him. He played so long and so well; he was able to say the best captain I played under was MS Dhoni. He started playing when Kapil Dev was Captain. The bridge between 5 generations of Cricket players. He also met Don Bradman, and lifted the world cup. He lifted a very heavy burden willingly, but as he said; his elder brother was always playing with him. And he played only for India... Even post retirement he bashes all time greats around like he did when he actually played them in their prime time. That's why we call him God.
He really doesn't like that line. But somewhere I think all understand yes he is special. He is not God himself; the way he played, the respect he had, the love he got, the love he gave, the down to earth hardworking person he still is; if that is not the qualities of God, I am fine being on the other side.
He replied only with his bat. Players stopped sledging him because it got worst. His game was simple but every part of his execution was the most complex thesis. We saw the best teams, and the best bowlers in their absolute prime of life and career; put their hands on head and I think the wise ones just watched.. it was worth watching those shots. Who would disagree.

First ever batsman is achieve so. You probably hadn’t seen him scoring 186 against New Zealand in 1999 next day after Diwali. He could’ve gotten a 200 right there in 1999. But you kids can only remember stuff after 2005s.
