â@@mirak1934 it's not that good. With Fan Jin he was able to go from 45% to 100%. With Gear Shift he only was able to go up 20% more. So Fam Jin is better and yes u can use gear shift for other people and objects, but it's not as a big of a Boost, besides it only last 5 mins

I love how Deku says Fa Jin! It's so suave! Simultaneously, he's able to combine quirks whilst learning it when on the go!! My little boy has grown up so much!!!
This boy has gone a long way to be very honest. From not being able to master one for all to being able to master all the quirks of the previous holders.
He is destined to had OFA.
Also all the same said quirks of the previous holders imprinted the abilities into One For All, kinda like DNA splicing. So Midoriya has learned to broaden his inherited abilities to master simultaneously rather than just the first use of OFA in the first three seasons.

Deku's FaJin was so dope in the anime. Deku is truly the right holder of One For All and this is one of his best quirks.
Yeah itâs cool might be really simple but itâs arguably one of his best skills. Personally Iâm more of a fan of black whip and danger sense but thatâs very biased on my end given my favorite hero since I was a kid is spider man.đ still think fa jin is cool

I never understood how Fa Jin worked in the manga so I had to wait until the anime explained it. Now I get it and that quirk is awesome
What's not to understand, he literally stores power then at the right moment he releases all that power by launching himself at the intended target

From what I could gather, Fa Jin is basically a kinetic energy collection quirk that becomes more effective as a fight continues. The only thing that didnât make sense was where the energy went until it showed how it built up in Dekuâs arms and legs.

@@razorshark6790 Because in the anime it was never revealed what the 2nd users quirk was or the name of it. Gearshift is the last quirk Deku unlocks and it wonât be shown yet till season 7.

According to websites Banded squats force you to speed up the eccentric phase, increasing velocity, which creates more KE and speeds up the concentric phase. This is a great form of speed training.

Hope they keep this grittier voice direction for midoriya, i like it so much more than his casual voice
His hero costume makes him look like an anthropomorphic rabbit. Him rapidly doing squats like that doesn't do him any favors in separating himself from that distinction.

It helps that his application of Fa Jin is basically like how he used to put all of One For All in a finger or arm. So it does feel a little more reasonable that he picked it up quickly.

In a dire situation, go for broke. If everyone fails to save the world, then you become that light. Desperation is a double edged sword, you can screw up and fail or you can succeed and rise.
I got Viewtiful Joe vibes when Deku said Fa Jin. The echo was perfect too.
I like this kind of power progression for a hero. Yes on one hand he's getting new abilities but on the other, by themselves they're not super impressive, its the comboing them and being intelligent that makes them dangerous. It's also such perfect character development for Deku personally. All his studying of hero technics and nerding out about quarks actually comes into play! I love when a character's power progress is based on them as a character so it actually feels like a natural fit rather than just something out of the blue! It makes you route for the character and actually enjoy watching them progress. Plus it gives us the whole "dark mirror" thing with him and All for One

Honestly i laughed when he was charging up Fa Jin. I started the manga later on so i didnt know. And i think the fact that the music cuts out just before he charges it up also kicked me off

Deku is a freshman. Within roughly one year, he has had to do so much on the fly it's insane really. It makes sense he'd pick up on this stuff quickly because, he has to.

I don't understand why they tought that Fa Jin would be so hard to master for deku.First of ,he already mastered multiple quirks in not so much time.Second,Fa Jin looks like one for all,the only difference is that with Fa Jin you have to "charge it" before using it
It's because of the amount of quirks Deku was using. It was already hard on him to balance using his previous quirks with OFA, and he actually couldn't properly use all once when he added FaJin. You can see the effect when Deku grabs Lady Nagant's arm after surprising her. After that jump, his body stalled and he lost some of his concentration on OFA, and that allowed Nagant to hit/hurt him with her gun barrel.
But after he narrowed it down to just OFA, FaJin and BlackWhip, he had complete control

Deku got a power boost really fast. But the way they portrayed in the series was absolutely perfect. He got a true vigilante arc that justifies it, I would say it's a "training arc" because we all know the villains will come back 200% stronger as well. I loved the concept of standing tall in the top, and having help from top heroes but at the same time not having any help at all. They did the "holding the world in his shoulders" really, really well, and it was pretty early in the series. In my opinion, the second part of the 6th season was immaculate, animation and story-wise. I cried when he -- *SPOILERS* --

Before this was even in the manga. I always said if I had a quirk itâd be to store kinetic energy in body parts my rapidly moving the part. Best believe I was a mixture of shocked and livid when this debuted.
Well, Fa Jin is kind of similar to OFA if you think about it. Both are practically stockpiling quirks (but with different functions) for the user to simply have speed and power beyond their capabilities. OFA is like an explosive boost, and Fa Jin is basically a multiplier. So, of course, he managed to learn how to use it in one night.đ

Easily Dekuâs best quirk. Not only is Fa Jin really versatile on its own, but also when itâs combined with BW and OFA 45% bro can match all mightâs 100% without using 100% of OFA. That is huge. If Deku used that *AND* 100% of OFA, just imagine what would happen đ„đ„đ„
best qurik is 2nd quirk gearshift
@facter-du6kt I respectfully disagree. Gearshift is far too situational to beat out Fa Jin for Deku's best quirk.
If it was the original version of Gearshift, not affected by OFA, maybe it could compete, but because OFA makes Gearshift too powerful to control easily and without backlash, Deku can basically only use it for a couple things.
Fa Jin on the other hand is *super* versatile. Like I said in the main comment, it can be used in so many ways, whereas Gearshift can only be used in a couple ways.
Just because something is able to output more pure power/speed than another thing doesn't make it immediately better. If it's barely able to be applied outside of 1 or 2 uses, then it's a lot less useful.

This is by far the best inherited Quirk in all of One For All donât get me wrong the others have their uses but being able to basically double your physical stats blows all the others out the water.
