    Nice work! I recently started using Nitram just to try it out. I feel like I burn through it quicker than other charcoal.

      +Devin It was my first time test for Nitram charcoal which is different from willow I mostly have been using.

      My experience with Nitram is different, in fact it lasts me longer than other vine/willow sticks.

    Amazing as always :D ! Whats the biggest format that you drew with charcoal on , and do you enjoy working on small formats more than you do on big ones ?

    One charcoal has a sharper point than the other one. Are they different in softness? And you use the stump rather to clean the surface instead of darkening it. Do you clean your stump with sandpaper every time it disappears from the screen or so?

    • @zinlimart
      @zinlimart  Před 5 lety +1

      I use same charcoal and sharpen on paper to keep the initial shape. I clean stump on eraser.

      Zin Lim Clean the stump with an eraser. 😳
      I never thought of cleaning the stump with the eraser. When I was younger I probably would have been embarrassed that I didn’t know that-being 60, I’m not. I’m just glad I learned something new today. 😌
      Thanks Mr Lim.
