    Hello my friends, sorry I haven't been around to post. I took a few days to do some spring cleaning and then sh*t hit the fan. This build was quite frustrating but I think it turned out alright in the end. I'll be back tomorrow with a short video. Hope you had a good weekend! 🍻🍻👍👍

    I'm a bicycle guy and I follow a channel called Oldshovel. He uses his Cricut machine to create some of the most elaborate layered stencil work I've ever seen. The 'unmasking' always leaves me surprised.

    If want to maximize the broken leaf look, wad gold in ball and rub it on to the glue. It must be burnished a lot to avoid multiple layers and paint fail. stay well and thanks for sharing.

By the way with you painting and re-imagining these cars/trucks a policy that every donor car must be stripped is a good choice.

    @TheOldPCTech Před 2 lety

    I'd love to see an experiment with the diamond burr pattern, but use a mix of red, orange and yellow candy layers for the flames, not necessarily overlapping them a lot... Just enough to give them a realistic flame blend of colors, so you'd see more red in some spots, orange in others, etc.
    I think if anyone could pull off a paint job like that, it'd be you. I've never seen anyone on any of the other die-cast channels who can lay down paint like you. I'll put it this way... Your die-cast paint jobs look like custom automotive paint for show cars in my humble opinion.

    dude i love your channel and all your builds. the paint on your cars are pretty sweet. with your leafing problem, maybe try Dux. its a leafing glue used by pinstripers and air brush artists. idk if it will lift your leaf, i have a can and havent used it yet, but from what ive seen it looks like it might hold the leaf better to the project. that speed ball stuff always smelled like watered down elmers glue to me, and its lifted my silver leaf before. keep painting yo. love your stuff.
