Thanks for the tip on pushing the panel down or up to make up for a measurement that might be off. I'm building a green house and using the panels for the roof. It would be great in your next project to let the audience know all the tools and all the materials you're using. I know how hard it is to do the filming all by yourself so I appreciate all the work you put in!-Daniel

There is special tape you can apply to the double wall panels that prevent stuff from getting in, there's a tape you apply to the top of the panel, and a separate tape you apply to the bottom to allow for drainage. "1 in. x 32 ft. Thermoclear Polycarbonate Multi-Wall Vent Tape" Thanks for the video I'm looking at doing this soon

Thanks for the video. Im curious why you chose not to use the vertical or horizontal closure strips from the manufacturer. I thought they were needed for the install. Do you have any thoughts on using them vs not using them?

Hi, is this type of roofing very noisy when it rains?

    • @secondgrowthhomes

      I would say Yes -
It is quieter than bare metal - slightly softer sounding. But Yes - the rain is loud drumming on the bare plastic roofing.

Do you screw the peak or valley part of the polycarbonate?

Peak for roofs, valley for siding.

      Thank You Buddy 🙂
      They say experience is overrated
But then - 20 years of pulling my tape measure alone - all day everyday -
And Here is a video of that experience.
It is a constant even tension deal - get that thing hooked on - pinch 🤏 the tape with your fingers -
Keep extreme firm tension on the tape with your pinched fingers - if the tension
Releases for even a .25 second it will fall off
Pinched the tape - keep the tension hard - and perfectly consistent
