It is Capoeira. Its a sub-art of Capoeira called 'Floreio' or 'Floreios'. Capoeira itself is played between two people - these are just the solo floor work of Capoeira.

Who ever is the Capoeira teacher in this group is doing a wonderful job . It's a pleasure to see beautifully ballanced movements with precision and purpose , reminds me of many great Capoeira Angola games I used to see .

I started Capoeira only recently, but have been watching your videos for quite some time... When I look for inspiration i look at the easy natural strength and flow of your movements. It really is awesome to see someone at the level you are still progressing and learning

@portaldo - i love the fact that you said 'no better idea than you have of what you are going to say in your next conversation' as my capoeira teacher and master always say that at it's purest capoeira is a conversation between bodies... your videos are brilliant and you are an inspiration to all who watch capoeirista or not...would love to meet you in the roda one day camara! muito axé

There are 'no corners' in your movements brother. I have seen NO ONE with a better blend of control, intent, and strength (both statically and dynamically), not to mention the artistic expression. Ido, you are phenomenal- continued success, all your days my friend.

Wow. Simply amazing. Dude as good as you are at aerial acrobatics, it is the control and strength of your ground acrobatics that makes your videos fun to watch. I work on the things you put out on your videos in an effort to come somewhere close to your level. Thanks for the inspiration.

You're work is inspiring, after my shoulder injury (still coming out of it-maybe never will be full recovery ;/) I started street workout and more capoeira exercise for the strenght of my arms, but can you tell me or show me what to do to be more flexible to high bridges? (w/o touching the floor with my head) I cannot make a normal bridge from sanding or from one hand, and not to hit the floor with my head :p I have problems with streching my shoulders behind..

    Beleza Ido!
Question: What's the best exercise / diet to heal a recurring knee injury (torn lateral meniscus). It seems to reoccur every time I start training capoeira again and leaves me debilitated for weeks. Yet it always seems to heal and my confidence comes back only to find my self there again. I want to overcome this issue once and for all and resume my love of capoeira and full range fluid movements, and mature my skill sets. I have a feeling you will have the answer.
    Thanks,
    Marreta
