Tbh, it's nice that some anime decks get some love know, but it still hurts me to see that neither dinomorphia nor lair of darkness received any kind of good and needed support. Lair especially

I remember Poker Knights were rewarded with a brick-search and summon that locks you into light warriors in the Extradeck, around the same time Branded and Tribrigade were a thing.
Konami is an ever picky parent who showers love on some, and punishes others

Id def cut 1 phantom for varudras and move the bystials to the side deck for more dark beckoning beast. Solid list overall and yea there's tons of combos you can do with varudras that cutting him isn't a good idea imo.

Yacine, you misread Dark Beckoning Beast. You can summon another Dark Beckoning Beast via its additionnal normal summon effect.

It can be recycled off spirit gates and is terrible to draw since it's the only search target for spirit of yubel

@@CuttingEdges I mean that's only relevant going 2nd, and the field spell is probably getting cosmic cycloned more often than not. I wouldn't make my deck worse just because of the existence of 1 card that may or may not come up
@cuttingedges If they Limited Pain to 1, we know ways to play without it if it did get Cosmic'd but i definitely see what you're saying and I'm loving all the different opinions that make us all better players and show our passion for Yubel

Even tho the deck can end on an unchained trap, which rage into sp is extremely strong, would you say dark ruler gets good value against yubel? I see so many potential good cards getting turned off like Caesar phantom apo rank 10 lotus etc
Edit: I ask cuz so far yubel seems like such a powerful threat that idk if it needs to be ht’ed or have it’s board broken cuz all this off a few cards does leave them with non engine left
Post fiendsmith u end on dies irae (can quick eff negate face up cards on the field) so against ruler u chain the unchained reborn trap as cl1 then u can respond to ur own trap with monster effects so u can chain dies irae to negate the ruler

Well not an errata but I hope they get a modern competitive revamp. So far only sphere mode has been good in this game

It's generally accepted that cause they know people will buy anime stuff regardless, they nerf them hard to sell the lore and meta decks more
And then they make them good later to sell them. Like that time blue-eyes won WCS 2016. Never happening again, but at least blue-eyes and blackwings won WCS 2009

I explained it wrong, the reason for the chaos beast is to decrease redundancy to allow spirit gates to be a 1 cars combo, since dark beckoning beast can't search itself
with 1 Throne u can end on Varudras, and u should

As you can see this line improves what you did by a lot by trading the SS lotus at the end for an Omni negate

@@yacine656 A line I know of that can get it is: Throne - add lotus - spirit - pop w pain - add squirmer - summon incarnate + yubel - yama with those 2 - add sharvara - summon squirmer - link both to rage - squirmer effect to summon spirit - pop spirit w sharvara - yama and spirit effect to summon yubel and spirit from grave - sharvara + rage to make muckraker - use both yubel and spirit to make varudras - you can then use the materials in grave to make a phantom of yubel - use raker effect to summon rage or spirit from grave - and the trap set from sharvara could be used to summon rage on opponents turn if you decide to summon spirit instead.
