- Interlocking two contactors in electrical systems is a technique used to prevent two or more contactors from being energized at the same time.
Connections such as Forward/Reverse motors connections, star/delta motor connections, automatic changeover switch connections, and any electrical connection(s) that require different electrical systems to operate at different times.
there are two types of interlocking contactors, namely: Electrical interlock and mechanical interlock.
This video gives a detailed explanation, making use of practical wiring and drawings to help you clearly understand how to effectively interlock magnetic contactors electrically.

You are very crucial and a legend. Hoping for more ❤
Wow! It feels great to know my videos are very helpful. I will continue to do my best bro. 🤝💕 ❤️
Every electrician needs to watch and know this.
Indeed bro you are such a kind person. May you never lack nothing in kind or cash....
Great work
Sir I am new to your channel and after watching your few videos on electrical installation work, it has encouraged me to watch all your videos from the day you uploaded your first video on the channel and I am currently here, but I must say that you are a top notch and one of a kind. I didn't kind this kind of knowledge from school. I am getting all that I am lacking here for free.
If you are not energy commission instructor (trainer) I will love you become one because you are one of the best ever.
The following are my little recommendations for you to stay on top on the game:
1. Always try you engage your followers at the comment section to address their questions.
2. Always try to have good sketch of the circuit including the terminal markings like you did in this video.
3. Any relevant or good questions asked, try to treat it as a top on your channel.
Stay blessed and thank you.
Good presentation
Thanks very much for this video
Please add the circuit diagram
Well noted.
Good Video
Thanks

Thanks for the comment
How to wire a dual capacitor motor in a forward-reverse operation?
Sir, I'm very interesting about your video electrical installation. Y not U using mechanical interlock?
I will do mechanical interlocking another time. This is electrical interlocking.
Please help me by teaching on how to wire a hammer mill
Simple. The hammer mill is actually driven by a motor so it's the motor that we need to wire to operate the mill. Now, before wiring, you need to check if the motor can be started DOL or if you need a star delta control. if the motor is rated below 7hp, you can start it DOL. otherwise, you will need a star delta starter. watch these videos as a guide to do the wiring.

please let me know after watching the videos above, if you still need further explanation or another video . thanks
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Please do you have a video on the electrical interlocking ans mechanical interlocking.
It's yet to come
Sir very nice. This is for the reverse, forward or star delta?
You can use it for both
its an interesting video bt you could have first explained the wiring diagram using drawing then continue doing the practical part because for a beginner I Know it will be hard to understand what is going on
Thanks. I will consider that.
Sir on yhe electrical drawing you should finish the wiring with different colors please
Noted
How to generator and electric work do you have drawing show me
Please send your request to WhatsApp +233209323669
Where is this applicable sir?
In situations where you are using two or more contactors and you want only one Contactor to work at a time.
Example: forward & reverse motor control, automatic changeover switches etc.
Two much hectic
Don't rush, take it one at a time. This is a little complex but can start with the basic ones. If you don't mind, watch these videos: czcams.com/video/cL-eV_m-A_w/video.htmlsi=EIgTd02WNnOwpKWC
