The guy who played shonuff deserved an oscar.
This was the very first martial arts movie that I saw. No matter how many times I watch this movie I never get enough of it.

It was sad watching Leroy cry like that because he really believed he was a coward. He was scared of Shonuff.
Leeroy was never scared of Shonuff. He was upset that he was causing his family to suffer because of his morales and beliefs.

1, When Shonuff describes looking for “this punk who thinks he can fight” Pops says “You mean, Junior.” Da fuq lolololol Is THAT how you see your son? And why are you ok with this man disrespecting your family in YOUR place of business?!?
2, As Shonuff’s Gang proceeds to trash the place and The Wifey starts to fight back, Mr. Green restrains HER?!?! Isn’t it usually the woman trynna stop her Man from fighting in defense?
3, Shonuff puts his hands on Richie whose just trynna defend his family and Mr. Green stands by watching him get dunked into the trash, and does nothing?!?
