If there's a device that can help someone with a disability live a happier life then I'm all for it. Yes, I know that AI and Auto Tune have made a lot of conartists appear to be real artists but this is different. Randy's stroke took away his ability to sing and with AI they've been able to give him his vocals back (as close as you can get). I know it took a surrogate vocalist and state of the art technology to make this happen but for Randy I have no problem with this. He deserves to be happy and you can see how happy he appears to be in the video so that warms my heart. I do want anyone using this technology though to be transparent that it's AI assisted vocals, even Randy. I believe that there should be a disclaimer and for anyone who has a vocal disability, well they should be allowed to use this incredible technology so that they can "sing" again. That's my take anyway.

I give you credt for mentioning James Dupre` because he was the one that created all the inflections and emotions in the song. I could sing a song and lay any artist (alive or dead) voice on top of mine, does that make it theirs? We don't have need more FAKE stuff in our lives. What's next new music from Elvis or Janis Joplin. I guess that is the end of the legends of music. If you ask me, the day this came out it was a sad sad day for music.
