To hear them more in their "normal" environment, try "Popular Monster", or their new singles "Zombified" or "Voices in My head"
On a different note, it's so refreshing to see someone like yourself, not having listened to metal before and possibly had some preconceptions, appreciate the musicianship of these bands and taking it into your heart as you do. FYI, Ronnie will not ever get you with a copyright strike so you don’t have to keep pausing if you don’t want to.
He has actually said On stream in public Anyone is free to listen and react to his music on their youtube channels without fear of infringement.
He even does reactions to people doing reactions to his songs on his twitch stream. He encourages reactions and people sharing his music

Ronnie is a genius. He has had a rough life. He went to prison for 2 1/2 years due to a probation violation. He had addiction problems. He was in a band prior to Falling in reverse, Escape the fate. When he went to prison they kicked him out. Ronnie formed Falling in reverse while in prison. He wrote a lot of his music in prison, including this one. The original is very different. He did the revamped version and the the reimagined version of The drug in me is you, as a thank you to the fans who stuck with him for so long. He has come such a long way. He is clean now, no drugs, alcohol, nothing. He has a beautiful daughter, Willow that is in a lot of his videos. Ronnie doesn't believe in genres. He mixes 3 or 4 different genres often on one song. He raps, sings beautifully, and screams.

Refreshing actually hearing someone spreading the actual reason Ronnie went to prison. I'm close to the whole situation and it's been more than a decade and a half of hearing everyone make completely erroneous claim about Ronnie incarceration and the self defense shooting.
If you listened to the original version first, then listened to the Revamped version, it’s almost like it takes on a whole new meaning. I loved the original when it came out over a decade ago, but when I heard this I was truly blown away how differently it hits emotionally.
I love hearing vocal coaches react to Ronnie. They always have something good to say. He is so under rated.

You should listen to this "I'm not a Vampire"OG song also which was 10 yrs ago. Then listen to The Drug in me is You and the reamangined song The Drug in me is You, which are 10 yrs apart. So interesting to see how much he has grown. I would recommend Popular Monster from 2019, Zomified 2022 and Voices in my Head 2022. Ronnie is a genius 😙😎

This song is the "Revamped" version of the original from 10 years earlier, that had more an emo/punk/rock vibe. Ronnie said, that he was fully aware, that this isn't a radio friendly song, but he wanted for once leave free reins to his creativity. The woman in the video is Ronnie's girlfriend, former WWE champion Paige, btw.
Most of Failing in Reverses music is much "harder" and probably not your cup of tea.
I'm pretty sure you would like The Drug In Me Is Reimagined, another "reimagined' song. Maybe check out the original (the drug in me is you) just for yourself before doing the reaction to the reimagined version.

I listened to them since they came out, I followed Ronnie from the Escape The Fate days and read Revolver magazine and kept up with the updates from Ronnie from prison
500+ times watching this (on CZcams) and i still get the chills.🥰 my god, you’ll absolutely LOVE the reimagined. my two favorite songs. as a poet, this is pure inspiration for me. ughhh, i could be here all day.
P.S. these two songs were also my most listened to songs of 2021, according to spotify wrapped. “the drug in me is reimagined” was streamed a solid 483 times on spotify! in between early august and late november of last year, that is… since that’s when i first started discovered these masterpieces.🥹 kinda off topic, but OH MY GOD I’M STILL OBSESSED.

If you look back to the original version of this song for comparison I think you would be impressed with just how different the two are. The lyrics are exactly the same except for 2 lines in the revamp where he acknowledges being a vampire
If you'd like aa few other vocalists of note in the Rock/Metal field that are amazing talents I'd suggest checking out the following. Einar Solberg of Leperous, Yannis Papadopoulos of Beast in Black (you like Floor and he covers Ghost Love Score), Lizzy Hale of Halestorm and Einar Selvik of Wardruna (he has done some colabs with Aurora). All are unique and powerful voices that show the chops of some of the vocal talent of the genre.

I love that it's so theatrical. The original was like a flippant pop rock song about going to celebrity rehab. But the lyrics meaning is basically about being a vampire in the sense of being a drug/alcohol addict and how that affects him and the people around him. This version obviously takes on a more literal vampire story, but I love that as well. It draws on so many tropes from Dracula, Interview with a Vampire, and the lore and vampire material in general. In a lot of spots it really does almost feel like a musical or something. It has that over the top bigness of the stage. Love your reaction as well!

I enjoyed watching your first reaction to FiR. I've been following Ronnie since the beginning. I grew up listening to his first band, Escape the Fate. Listened to his prison tape releases and his career with FiR.
I would recommend watching "The Drug in Me is Reimagined" next and continuing on with taking on the trilogy set of videos which include "Losing my Mind", "Losing My Life", and "Drugs". A forewarning though, the dark themes continue, haha.
That will give you quite the experience.

No, this band is a punk band, mainly. But, Ronnie Radke, who is the lead singer and I believe comes up with their songs can sing in EVERY type of genre, including rap. This guy is fucking insane. They are with an old school punk record label that I listened to back in the 90's, and I just heard about this band like a couple of weeks ago. Since I found out about them their music dominates my playlist. 💯
Been many years since they fell under that punk genre anymore, the genre is Ronnie. Of course, 6 months later I'm sure you know this now lol

He has so many amazing songs. He has been around quite a while but really got a HUGE kick into the spotlight when he put out "Popular Monster." But of his Epic performances, you would love "The Drug In Me Is Reimagined." It's beautiful!
I hope you get a chance to check out Melancholia by Dark Sarah, each of their songs tell a continuing story and they really don't get enough love. All in all, an incredible cinematic and symphonic metal experience.

Im not into dark imagery but it makes sense as the vampire theme I believe its meant to symbolizes his addiction. The line in the song where he says "Hi my name is Ronnie I'm an addict" is very powerful and honest.

Ronnie is incredible, he is his own genre. Classically trained if I remember right also.
Hi. Do you have a source for him stating he is classically trained? I'd love to read or see it, if so. Anything I've watched or read Ronnie say is he was never professionally trained in voice nor instrumental technique. It's all self taught and improved over the years through his own efforts and growth. He actually specifically does not even like hearing breakdown on technique because he feels music theory would ruin his own approach of creating music through his heart, soul and experience.
Like many have said, with this band at least, you won't need to pause if you don't want to. By all means stop when you need to, but for copyright reasons, you won't need to. Ronnie Radke owns all the rights to his music and watches these reaction videos, with that being said The Drug In Me Is Reimagined is definitely a must. If I may suggest you watch the original prior to giving a reaction to the reimagined version, you will enjoy it so much more.
